OVERVIEW:
REQUIREMENTS:
- Class Notes are required to be in a binder just for World History. Format for Class Notes will be the same as Homework(see below).Notes must be legible and written in pen.Random notebook checks will be done regularly for a homework grade.
- All work must be answered using blue or black pen only. NO pencils are allowed.
- All Homework is to be done on a separate sheet of paper with DATE(1ST LINE),CLASS AND HISTORY SECTION(2ND LINE),,AND FULL NAME(3RD LINE) IN THE TOP RIGHT CORNER.
- THE ASSIGNMENT SHOULD BE WRITTEN ON THE TOP LEFT CORNER.
- EXAMPLE:Section Quiz 2.4 page 57
- Activity Questions, Section Review and Chapter Review Questions in complete sentences and answered fully( multiple part questions require multiple answers). IF it cannot be read it is wrong.
- POP Quizzes will be given periodically over lessons covered.
- Everything must be kept in a three-ringed binder or folder designated for World History class only and will be graded on test days for a quiz grade: 100% for all reading and class notes, homework questions, and handouts,missing info will be docked and if a habit is made a zero will be given.
- All in-class grading will be completed in green ink and the student who does the grading must be written on the bottom of each page graded. All student grading must be done correctly. Any irregularities will be treated as cheating and dealt with in accordance to the student handbook
GRADING:
20%-Homework graded for accuracy and completion.
30%-Activities and Quizzes may be scheduled or given at random.
50%-Tests and Projects will be scheduled.
Projects:
- Will be given throughout the year for Grades.
