How is the animal changing?

  1. Ask:  Do you know what animals hatch from eggs?
  2. Present a chart with two columns (yes and no) and pictures with a variety of animals.
  3. Have the children take turns in choosing a picture card and orally state the animal’s name.
  4. Have the child decide if the animal comes from an egg or not. then have the child place it in the correct column.
  5. Display different animal’s life cycle.
  6. Ask: How is the animal changing? Is the animal called the same after he is an adult?
  7. Read “I started as an Egg”
  8. Discuss the animals that come from egg.
