The 3M Cloud Library is now Cloud Library by Bibliotheca.

Using the Cloud Library app is fairly simple for most devices. Once installed, you will need to access the Portneuf Library’s ebooks by choosing the LCEI Consortium as your library. You will then need to type in your library card barcode without spaces followed by the last four digits of your phone number. Please contact the library if you have difficulty logging in.

Authenticating you Nook

You may find that, once your books are downloaded, your device may give you an error message stating “user not activated.” This is an issue with a program called Adobe Digital Editions where the information on your device does not match the information on your computer. Follow these steps to fix the issue:

1. Go to “My Computer” (or the equivalent on your PC or Mac) and click on the Nook drive.

2. Find and delete the “.adobe-digital-editions file.

3. Close ADE

4. Restart ADE

5. Your Nook should now be visible to ADE, if not

6. Go back to the Nook drive

7. Find the “Digital Editions” file and delete it

8. Close ADE

9. Restart ADE (and re-connect Nook to the computer)

10. Nook will be visible

11. Click “Authorize Device”

If you don't see the “.adobe-digital-editions" file on Nook drive you probably need to make it visible in Explorer/Finder. Click on the links for instructions.

Note: Not all nooks will have the “authorize device” on the last step. Some will authorize automatically. Either way, you should still be able to read your ebooks.
