[1] In 1907, the de Lászlós settled in England, at first renting a house in Hanover Terrace, Regent’s Park. The following year, they moved to Palace Gate, Kensington. De László’s portrait of his wife Lucy playing the violin [6765] was awarded the Gold Medal at the International Exhibition in Venice in 1907.
