A Journal is used as a reflective tool, where students report their progress or learning experiences. It can be shared with other students, however the journal is usually shared with the instructor only.
In this tutorial you will learn how to:
To begin, go to Control Panel, click Course Tools and then Journals. Click the Create Journal button.
Give the Journal a name and instructions.
You can set date restrictions if necessary.
Index Entries allow organizing viewing by weekly or monthly.
Allow Users to Edit and Delete Entries, check this to allow students to make edits.
Grade Journal select No Grading or Grade : Points possible if the journal is to be submitted for a grade.
Click Submit to finish.
