Jennifer Buonatony is the CEO of Press Pass LA (presspassla.com), a media company she launched in 2010 which covers entertainment industry news in the areas of TV, film, music, lifestyle and up & coming talent. She has more than thirteen years of experience working in the entertainment industry in TV and film production, development, talent management and social media and public relations. She is a graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.




Ghen Laraya, Entertainment & Technology Attorney

Ghen Laraya Long is an experienced international Technology and Entertainment (Technotainment Attorney). She specializes in transactional contracts for the creation, production and distribution of traditional media content over new media platforms. She has a roster of technotainment clients ranging from producers, directors, writers, musicians and actors as well as startups for whom she provides advice and production attorney services,

Most recently she was the VP of Business and Legal Affairs for Mandalay Digital Group Inc. and it’s wholly owned subsidiary Digital Turbine Inc., specializing in B2B mobile applications. Prior to Mandalay Digital Group, Inc., she was the Assistant General Counsel and Director of Mobile Partnerships for CBS Corporation and has also worked for the legal departments of Tokyopop! and Yahoo! Inc.


Heidy Vaquerano

Heidy Vaquerano launched her own firm in April 2013. Previous to that she worked at LaPolt Law, P.C. for eleven years where she became experienced in drafting and

negotiating agreements relating to the Entertainment Industry including recording agreements, producer agreements, various work for hire agreements, management agreements, licensing agreements for film, TV and video games, original web TV and mechanical licensing. Her practice focuses on transactional Entertainment Law matters and represents various clients in the music business, film and TV industry, merchandising, book publishing and new media.

Heidy has lectured at various entertainment industry events and including, MIDEM in Cannes, France on behalf of the International Association of Entertainment Lawyers and has taught the Graduate Business Course entitled, Introduction to the Business of Music; at California State University, Los Angeles.


Jennifer Coté

Jennifer Coté started out as Adi Hasak’s assistant via a general meeting at the end of which he asked,“You want to show up on Monday?” and she said yes. The rest is history.

Coté ran point in developing the first slate of projects for Adi TV Studios and has headed development for the company since 2011. Most recently, Coté served as the writer/producer on set for the entire run of USA Network’s Eyewitness in 2016.

A former high school dropout, Hooters waitress, PR maven, and sex columnist, Jennifer Coté is a writer who believes in the power of reinvention both amidst her twisted characters and in real life. Coté was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, and (after working her way through community college and earning full scholarships) she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mount Holyoke College.

After careers as a “nightlife” columnist, speechwriter, and public relations flunky, Coté earned her MFA in screenwriting thanks to a generous Michener Grant from The University of Texas at Austin. She worked for Richard Linklater’s Detour Films before moving to Los Angeles. Coté has written and produced several short films, and her screenplays have earned recognition from Francis Ford Coppola’s American Zoetrope, Slamdance, Austin Film Festival, and more. She is a member Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society, and her fiction has won several prizes including an award funded by the MacArthur Foundation. In addition, her short story “Busted” earned her a spot in the prestigious Prague Program for Writers.


Tara Johnson is a Media Personality, Actress, Lawyer and Producer who is best described as a straight shooter with a splash of Southern charm.

She leads the charge as Host and Executive Producer of the original series, Words, Wine and Women (http://wordswinewomen.com), dedicated to the sisterhood of women. The series is the first from her production company, Chasing After You Productions.

Fans will recognize Tara as a host on Maria Menounos’ ‘after-show’ online network AfterBuzz TV and as co-host of “Phenomenal Women,” a show on Black Hollywood Live, the first online network dedicated to African-Americans in entertainment.

This Athens, GA native’s desire for learning has earned her two BBAs, an MBA, a JD and a certificate in Television Writing and Producing. Tara took her skills to New York City, where she spent years as a successful lawyer before making a career change and diving into the entertainment arena.
