This is a serious and personal statement about what Travis Horton, also known as GreyJedi and GrandPokemonMaster, and his sister have done to Valerie. This has been years of harassment, lies, public humiliation, and emotional damage aimed at her. Valerie did nothing to deserve this. She was simply trying to live her life in peace, and somehow that became the reason she was stalked, lied about, and dragged through public embarrassment for years.
What Actually Happened Between Them
A lot of people who do not know the full story may think this was just a misunderstanding or a normal falling out between two people. It was not. Valerie was never the one chasing Travis. It was the other way around.
Travis was the one who got rejected after he kept begging her to be his girlfriend, refusing to respect her boundaries, and eventually going way too far by sending explicit photos and edited images to pressure and embarrass her. That is not flirting. That is harassment. Valerie was already in a relationship and had no interest in him. When she finally made it clear that the answer was no, he did not leave her alone. He treated it like an insult and started turning the story around so that she looked like the problem.
That is where the lies started, along with the fake accounts, the edited content, and the people he managed to turn against her. None of that came from Valerie. It came from the fact that Travis could not accept being rejected. She did not provoke any of this. She did not deserve any of it. What also bothered me was how many people kept making excuses for Travis just because he is autistic. His autism does not excuse the way he has treated Valerie. It does not excuse the stalking, the lies, the manipulation, or the harassment. Being autistic is not a free pass to hurt people, and it should not be used to justify what he did.

From what she has described, and from what others have seen, Travis and his sister repeatedly spread false information about her both online and in person.
They did not just disagree with her. They tried to completely reshape how people saw her, turning her into some kind of villain instead of a person who was just trying to enjoy conventions and live quietly. That made spaces that should have felt fun and safe become stressful and hostile for her.
There was also behavior directed at her that felt inappropriate and sexualized, and it made her feel unsafe. That kind of attention is not flattering. It makes a person feel watched, judged, and degraded, especially when it goes on again and again.
His sister publicly embarrassed her in front of fans and people she respected, including a voice actor she looked up to. After that incident, Valerie told me she went back to her hotel room and just sat there feeling scared, humiliated, and emotionally drained. She should have been able to enjoy the con without feeling like she needed to hide or protect herself from someone who wouldn’t let her go.
From what she’s explained and from what others have witnessed, it’s clear that Travis and his sister lied about her, manipulated people around her, and turned others against her without showing them the full truth.
Because of everything Valerie has seen and everything she’s been through, she’s completely lost trust in Travis Horton and his sister. She doesn’t see them as “misunderstood” or “going through a hard time.” She sees them as people who chose to lie, manipulate, harass, and sabotage someone’s life and happiness because Travis couldn’t handle being rejected.
How Travis Spreads Lies and Pulls Others In
Travis didn’t just target Valerie alone. He lies to people around her, twists events, and builds up a story that frames her as the “stalker” or the “problem” so others will side with him without seeing the full picture. That’s why friends, associates, and even strangers have ended up messaging her, confronting her, or turning against her because they were misled by what he told them.
Once the truth started coming out, a lot of people realized they’d been used as tools against someone who never did anything wrong. That’s not on Valerie. That’s on Travis for spreading lies and manipulating people around her.
What Elyse, Valerie’s Close Friend, Told Me
Elyse, a close friend of Valerie’s, also spoke up because she could not stay silent anymore. She asked to be named in this statement, while also asking that the names of voice actors not be included, and that request is being respected.
Elyse said she blocked Travis and his sister as soon as she created her account. She also said Travis admitted to getting his sister to spy on Valerie for him. According to Elyse, he even wanted his sister to walk up to Valerie and say, “don’t mess with family,” which is part of why she was so disgusted by the way people were being turned against Valerie on his behalf.
She explained that she responded to a video Travis posted of Valerie and claimed it was “for his safety,” but that was not true. She said her service dog was the one Hunter was barking at, and that Hunter was already barking before they even walked into the room. That made it clear Travis was not controlling the situation the way he claimed. She also said Travis later deleted their conversation, but she kept screenshots of his threats. From her perspective, he is obsessed with Valerie and has even creeped on other women, including her, in an attempt to make Valerie jealous.
She also shared old screenshots from when Travis was still using Twitter/X. In those messages, he called a voice actor “auntie” and treated her like a “new mom,” which already showed how strangely he was relating to people in fandom. She said he threatened suicide and later threatened to hurt Valerie after that same voice actor asked him not to call her “Ronnie.” Elyse told him to call 988, and he refused. That is part of what made her see those comments as threats rather than a real cry for help. She also shared other screenshots showing him blaming Valerie, making more threats, and sending his sister to spy on her at Collect-A-Con Dallas.

That is why Elyse’s words matter so much. They back up the same pattern from another angle. This is not just Valerie’s story. It is something multiple people have seen happening over and over again.
More Evidence Elyse Shared
Elyse also found more evidence showing how far this goes beyond normal fandom behavior and into obsession. She has screenshots of fake accounts, including one Twitter account that joined in March right after Valerie posted about it, with no followers and no real activity. It exists almost entirely to harass her.
She also has anonymous questions Travis sent her about relationships being about power and catfishing, which is exactly the kind of behavior he used against Valerie. She even has one message he sent Valerie directly, which makes it obvious it was him, since she never spoke to Valerie’s ex or his friends and they would not even know how to spell her name properly.
Elyse also has videos of Hunter misbehaving, plus a video of Travis at a convention without Hunter, which shows he does not actually need the dog there the way he claims. She also has clips of him calling voice actors things like “Uncle Jay” and “Uncle Bill,” which just adds to how deeply he blurs the line between fandom and real life.
She has made it clear that Travis does not handle his dog properly, does not follow basic service-dog rules, and uses Hunter as an excuse while still harassing people around him. Her evidence supports the same conclusion. This is not a misunderstanding. It is obsession, harassment, and manipulation. Travis….

Emotional Impact on Valerie
Valerie feels like she is being watched all the time, like every move she makes is being tracked and reported back to someone who has no right to be involved in her life. She is mentally exhausted from being targeted for years and worn down by fake accounts, lies, and edited content made about her.
She has been humiliated in public spaces she cared about, including conventions and fan spaces, and left feeling scared, hurt, and like she cannot even enjoy an event without carrying that weight. She is tired of being lied about, harassed, and blamed for saying no. More than anything, she is tired of being forced to carry pain that never should have been hers in the first place.
I reached out to Travis on Facebook to ask him about what he did, and he blocked me instead of facing it. That kind of reaction speaks for itself. When someone refuses to even have a conversation, it usually means they know they’re in the wrong.
Even after being called out, Travis is still using a fake TikTok account to harass Valerie and spread lies about her. His behavior shows a clear pattern of refusing to stop, and each new attempt only makes the situation more obvious.
Travis also appears to have photoshopped images of himself and Valerie together, despite Valerie clearly telling him to stop contacting her and to leave her alone. This is another example of his repeated creep behavior and ongoing harassment.
Travis Continues Harassing Valerie Through Fake Accounts
Travis is back at it, using fake accounts to harass Valerie and push false claims again. This is the same repeated behavior, and it’s obvious he is trying to keep the abuse going.

This statement is being put out publicly so:
- People who don’t know the full story can see how serious and repeated Travis’s behavior toward Valerie has been
- Event organizers and platforms can treat this as documentation of harassment, fake accounts, and threats
And 3. Anyone who still assumes this is “just drama” can decide for themselves what kind of person he really is.
This is Valerie’s truth, carried and supported by her friends. She didn’t deserve any of this, and it’s time it was seen for what it really is.
