Education

Timothea (Timi) Biermann (born Dayton, OH 1974) studied extensively at numerous renowned art schools including the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Parsons School of Design, Anderson Ranch Art Center and Haystack Mountain School of Crafts. In 1995, Biermann graduated with honors from Maine College of Art and holds a BFA in ceramics. She also earned an MA in painting from Savannah College of Art and Design.

About

In November 2021, Timothea co-founded the Chameleon Art Collective, a group of teaching artists featured on the Rocky Mountain PBS website.  She is a resident artist at Blue Tile Gallery & Art Space. Timothea exhibits at local venues such as Memento Mori Gallery, Lakewood Arts Gallery, Thrive Workspace, Center for Visual Arts, Kaladi Coffee Roasters, 40 West Gallery, Stella’s Coffee Haus, Capital Tea, City O’ City, Pirate: Contemporary Art, The Lab on Santa Fe. Emerge Modern Salon, and Lumenati. She resides in Englewood with her 2 black cats, Eve & Gregor.
