Poverty Summative Assessment - Design

Task: The Asker International School community needs more awareness of the poverty issues present in our world today. You are required to make a short video about poverty. The aim of the video is to educate others about some poverty issues present today, as well as demonstrating an action that could help prevent poverty. Therefore, the film will need to include two parts:

A - Give some insight to some of the issues of poverty that exist today.

B - Demonstrates your response/action taken towards poverty.

Stage 1 - Inquiring & Analyzing

i) explain and justify the need for a solution to a problem

  1. Give reasons why a video is a good solution for educating the AIS community about poverty. Can you justify your reasons with examples of film that have helped send a powerful message?

ii) state and prioritize the main points of research needed to develop a solution to the problem

Write down the main points of research needed to complete this project. What do you need to find out in order to complete this project effectively? Order from highest to lowest priority.

iii) describe the main features of an existing product that inspires a solution to the problem
