The Warrior Games

Presents

Tour de Boudicca 6.0

A three day stage race series

“It takes skill to win a battle, but brains to win a war”

Boudicca was the Queen of the Iceni who led a revolt against Roman rule in ancient Britain around AD 60-61. A warrior queen, she was a true inspiration to women and a hero to her people. She might have failed in her quest but she gave it everything she had. The Warrior Games, has created a three day stage race in her honour open to all female Zwifting warriors.

All categories will race exactly the same routes and distances with 3 Short races, a Sprint Race and a Queen Stage.

Entry Information and Rules

  • Interested, established teams must submit an entry form of team roster by 27th December 2024 to The Warrior Games at thewarriorgamesvirtual@gmail.com

  • All entrants must be able to participate in all three stages.

  • Minimum riders per category is 3 ( for Team GC) , there is no maximum.

  • Entries will only be accepted from existing teams registered on Zwift Power (ZP)

  • Entry forms will require each rider’s first name, surname, weight, email and ZP ID LINK .

  • Top 3 riders from each stage plus 2 or more random riders in every category from the entry field will be required to submit video verification of weight to their team manager or captain to pass on to The Warrior Games race committee. We would recommend uploading the video on Youtube (unlisted) to share weigh-ins verifications. We strongly recommend that riders record a pre-verification video either on the morning of the race or within 24 hours before the race. This will aid us in processing the videos and allow us to confirm results before the next Stage.

You can find the weight - in protocol on link below :

The Warrior Games - Weigh-in Protocol

NOTE: "No rider will be asked to submit more than one video over the course of the event."

  • Team entries are the responsibility of the team managers ONLY. Each team must have a minimum of three riders, however there is no maximum number of riders per team.

  • Riders must match their Zwift profile name and ZP name, e.g. Jane Doe [XTeam]

  • Zwift Racing Score  will be enabled and will follow the following range:

Pen A:  500–1000

Pen B:  375–500

Pen C:  250–375

Pen D: 125–250

Pen E : 0–125

  • Steering will be disabled.

  • Dual recordings “advisory” for ZRS 500-1000 category ( if you have a power meter). Dual recordings should be submitted into the “analysis” section in the Rider’s Zwiftpower profile. Elite verified riders are expected to follow eracing rules This is to ensure the fairness and transparency in the Stage race event.

  • AMENDMENT: This event is using ZWIFT RACING SCORE. If your Score is upgraded on ZP as a result of your stage performance, then IF this is during/on STAGE 1 you will be advised to race the next bracket for STAGES 2 AND 3.  If an Upgrade occurs during STAGE 2 or 3 then the rider may continue/complete the race in the category they started out in. Zwift Racing Score  will be used to determine upgrades, however when necessary the final decision regarding category upgrades lies with The Warrior Games event organising committee.
  • Heart Rate Monitors (HRM) are obligatory for all categories. Note: If or during the stage your HRM drops/malfunction, you may be allowed to continue the competition if it’s not intentional and your HR graph clearly shows a malfunction. HR in a dual record may also help. Contact organisers within 2 hours after the stage has concluded.

  • Smart trainers and dumb trainers with power meter only, no Zpower riders.

  • Riders should ensure power meters and smart trainers are calibrated / zeroed (calibration to be done after a warm-up) out prior to each stage.

  • Riders must wear their team jersey for each stage unless they are GC leaders, in which case they must swap to the Queen Bee jersey for the following stage.

  • Riders will be disqualified if they race with no HRM or have an inaccurate weight verification video (weight in video must match Zwift weight) if called upon to provide.

  • The Organizing committee recommends that all riders do a weigh in verification video the morning of each race, and submit to their  manager/captain so it will be ready to submit if called upon.

  • Riders, please ensure that you do not change zwift power names/tags/ teams  during the competition and until the results are officially finalised.
  • Any complaints, please bring them forward within 2 hours after the Stage race has concluded.  You can use our email address or our discord server:
