United Swim Club Code of Conduct: Athletes
The purpose of a code of conduct for athletes is to establish a consistent expectation for athlete behavior.
United Swim Club strives to be an open and inclusive environment. Our community is enriched by the many individual journeys of our athletes, coaches and community members, and we value what these identities bring to our team. All athletes have the right to feel respected and welcomed by coaches, teammates and community members. All athletes are expected to treat each other and all members of the USC community with respect and dignity. Athletes will attend practices consistently and in accordance to their practice group schedule. All athletes are expected to treat all teammates, parents, officials, timers and opponents with the highest level of respect. All United Swim Club members will be supportive of their teammates, participate in team cheers, and assist younger/less experienced athletes.
❏ I will respect and show courtesy to my teammates and coaches at all times.

❏ I will show respect for all facilities and other property (including locker rooms) used during practices, competitions, and other team activities.
❏ I will refrain from foul language, violence, and behavior deemed dishonest, offensive, or illegal.
❏ If I disagree with an official’s call, I will talk with my coach and not approach the official directly.
❏ I will obey all rules and Codes of Conduct set forth by United Swim Club, New England Swimming and USA Swimming.
