Savory Breakfast Galette

Ingredients:

1 pie shell - homemade or store bought

2 cups frozen hash browns

1 tablespoon finely chopped onion

1/4 cup finely chopped green pepper 

1 egg (to mix in with the potato mixture)

1/4 to 1/2 cup ham chopped into small pieces

1/4 cup cheddar cheese

1 egg for the top

Salt, pepper, and celery salt

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 375 degree F

2. Make your pie crust or if you bought one place it on a baking sheet.

3. Mix the hash browns with the onions, green peppers, ham, cheddar cheese, and egg. Season it with salt and pepper to taste.

4. Place the hash in the center of the pie crust and bring the edges of the pie crust over the edge of the hash browns.

5. Place it in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes.

6. After 20 minutes remove from the oven and crack an egg on top. Sprinkle with additional salt and pepper. Sprinkle with a little celery salt for additional flavor. 

7. Bake for an additional 5 to 10 minute depending on how well done you like your egg to be done.
