In accordance with the new bylaws, the board appointed 3 new members of the board

Head of Middle School Rugby - Tom Kean

Pat Carmody will sit on the board as a Director Emeritus in an advisory role.

As the club has grown with multiple teams and multiple coaches, we have had to introduce some new policies to the club.

The first is the Parent Volunteer Benefit Policy (Ctrl+ Parent Volunteer Benefit Policy ).  Any parent/guardian who volunteers their time to the club is entitled to a partial or full refund on the club dues for the spring, which includes the Family User Fee.  Please take the time to look at the policy and see how you can volunteer with the club to receive a refund of club dues at the end of the season.

The second is the Chiefs RFC Discipline Policy (Ctrl+ Chiefs RFC Discipline Policy )

Please read this policy with your player.  Rugby is a game like no other.  It is a game based on 5 core values of Respect, Discipline, Integrity, Solidarity and Passion.  This is something we want to see from our players at all times.

During the registration process, you electronically sign the Player Code of Conduct.  The policy outlines measured actions if a player violates this code of conduct.

As of the Spring Season, we will also be introducing a Parent Code of Conduct to the registration process.  That too can be found at the bottom of the Discipline Policy along with a copy of the Coach/Administrator Code of Conduct all our coaches/board members sign with Rugy Illinois.

If you have any questions about the new policies, please feel free to contact Janet Kean.

We will be holding a meeting in September for anyone interested in the England Tour 2019.  Players wishing to play must be in 8th Grade-11th Grade this academic year to be eligible.

If you are interested in going on the tour, please register your interest on our Tour page of the website. (Ctrl+ )
