*Rookie Rugby practice may change to Tuesday depending on flexibility of those registered.

High School Boys

This season our High School Boys will be joining other local teams to form the Southwest Barbarians.  Training will be at the Chicago Blaze starting Monday August 27th 6-8pm.  All dues for taking part in the fall season will go via the Chicago Blaze club.  For more information either contact Janet (630) 642-0463, or Coach Ryan from the Blaze (815) 546-7856

The Middle School and Rookie Rugby Fall Ball Schedule is below.  You can also find it on our calendar.

The format of the Fall game day will be

Middle School - 45 minute group skills followed by 45 minute game

Rookie Rugby - 30 minute group skills followed by 30 minute game

Please arrive at least 20 minutes before the scheduled start time to be ready for a prompt start.  Game day starts at 1pm.

There may be one additional event the week of The Rugby Weekend on Thursday, November 1st in the evening, in the city of Chicago.  This is yet to be confirmed.

Please let your coach know if you are unable to make a game.

Rookie Rugby - our t-shirts will not be here in time, so we will take pinnys for this week's game.  Please wear comfortable, weather appropriate clothing for running around.  Cleats may be worn, but are not required.  Mouthguards may be worn, but are not required.  

Middle School - remember no leggings are allowed for boys, and remember your mouthguard.  New players will be given shorts at training this week as long as Chiefs registration has been completed.  Please wear black socks for the games.

November 3rd 2018 - The Rugby Weekend returns to Chicago with a triple header of games.  The Chiefs RFC will be hosting a family friendly tailgate party on the Waldron Deck.  Tickets will be $10 and will cover the cost of hot dogs, burgers and water.  You can purchase your tickets now by going to the The Rugby Weekend tailgate tab at the top of the website home page

Please bring your own (adult) beverages.

There will also be a signup page for help with paper goods, tables, grills, side dishes etc

Remember to get your spiritwear ordered before the start of the season too!
