Laas/coe’s - Terms of Service

Every following information applies to every commissioner for every commission. No exceptions.

Please read the TOS carefully before commissioning the artist. By commissioning the artist, the commissioner agrees to the TOS upon any purchase.

Failure to comply with any of the rules listed will result in the cancellation of your commission.

Do take note that the cancellation fee will be measured by the state and process the commission

is at that point and will be deducted from the total of your upfront payment during refund.

The offer:

  1. General Term
  1. With commissioning the artist, the commissioner confirms that they are of legal age, 18+ or older, to purchase artworks.
  2. The commissioner should provide all relevant references and information when submitting the requested commission.
  3. During the commission, it is required to communicate politely and respectfully with each other at any point.
  4. The artist and the commissioner should first settle on an accurate explanation and interpretation of the expected finished product before starting the commission.
  5. The artist has the right to cancel or deny any commission.
  6. Please keep in mind that I am a beginner artist and that the quality of the artwork can be variable depending on exercise and improvement.
  7. The commission could be delayed due to illness, unforeseen events or due to a fulltime job as a nurse. Completion times may vary and may take up to a few months. The commissioner is welcome to ask respectfully for any update within this time if the artists do not update the commissioner on their own.
  8. The artist is allowed to deny any ideas that will make them uncomfortable.
  1. PERSONAL NOTE: I will NOT draw: Cub related suggestive and or NSFW art, Gore, Vore, extreme fetishes (for example diaper, any feces related content, extreme pain, etc.), Pedophilia, Zoophilia, Beastiality and co.

  1. Payment
  1. The payment currency has to be paid in €uros via PayPal.
  2. Do not send payments unless the artist agrees to accept your commission and asks for the payment and sends you the invoice.
  3. Commissioned artworks should be paid fully upfront before the artist starts on the requested commission.
  4. Payment must be made within 48 Hours of your commission being accepted and the artist asks for the payment, no sooner.
  5. If the payment is not made within said 48 Hours you will lose your commission slot and must apply again on a later date.

  1. Additional Charges
  1. Complex and or high detailed characters (complex markings and or anatomy for example wings, additional tails, limbs etc.) will add an extra cost to the commission measured by the complexity and level of detail.
  2. If the commissioner can’t provide a clear reference sheet of the commissioned character, the commissioner will receive an extra charge due to a difficult working condition.

  1. Process, Updates and Approvals
  1. Once the agreement is completed, the artist will start to sketch the commission and the commissioner will receive a Sketch to approve or alter.
  2. The commissioner is giving one last chance to scratch the original idea and a new concept of product will be developed.
  3. The commissioner will receive the additional bought Line Art as a WIP to approve or alter.
  4. Once the Line Art is approved, the Line Art will NOT be altered anymore.
  5. Major changes at any stage of the commission will incur additional charges and have to be paid before the commission will be completed.
  6. When the final product is finished and the commissioner approves, the commissioner will receive the product in full quality as a file via email with and without the artist's signature.

  1. Artist Permission and Commissioners Rights
  1. The Artist retains copyright of every produced image/Artwork. The artist is allowed to use the finished product as advertisement or make revisions or edits of the artwork. If the commissioner notes that they don't wish that, it's their right and the artwork will NOT be posted.
  1. If the commissioner decides that the artwork should remain private, the commissioner has to pay 10% of the overall price, due to lack of advertisement through the fact that posted artworks are an advertisement for the business.
  2. If the characters fall out of contact with each other and wish to remove the image from the internet, the artist will NOT remove the picture from the gallery as long as the privacy fee (§5.a.i) is paid.
  1. If the artist accidentally posts a private Artwork, it will be removed immediately upon notice. Mistakes can happen.
  2. The commissioner is allowed to post the finished product on any form of Social Media as long as the post credits the original artist and will be linked to the Linktree or the fitting social media page of the artist. (If posted on X, it’s fitting to link/@ the artist X page)
  1. The commissioner may NOT post the finished product on social media without the signature. The product without signature is for personal use ONLY.
  1. The commissioner is allowed to make icons, wallpapers, prints, etc. of the finished product. Prints are allowed for personal use ONLY.
  1. The commissioner is NOT allowed to make any profit from the finished product. Such as selling prints or alterations. Please contact the artist first, if you consider any of these subjects.
  1. If the commissioner uses other people's OCs or Characters for their artwork, the artist is NOT to blame at ANY point, if said OC or character was used WITHOUT PERMISSION of the commissioner. The artwork would be then removed from galleries. Disputes should remain between buyer/commissioner and character owner. NOT the artist.

  1. Refund policy
  1. The commissioner is allowed to ask for a refund for 48 hours after the payment is sent, after that period of time there will be NO REFUNDS unless there is a fitting reason.
  1. The artist is not obligated to refund the commissioner for following reasons: wrongful purchase, impulse purchase, disappointment in art, bored of art, impatient of production, etc.
  2. If the commissioner decides to cancel the commission mid-way, the buyer will only get a partial refund (§6.b.i)
  1. If the commission has to be canceled because of any reasons from the artist, the commissioner will receive a partial refund of the process of what couldn't be finished, depending on the stage the commission already is. ​
  1. for example:
    bought a 2 Char, coloured, cell-shade with comp. background = 62,50€
    artist only finished the line-art of the two characters;
    refund = 32,50€
  2. A full refund will be issued, if the artist has not started the work yet, is heavily delayed, too much stress to start it, too complicated or the artist feels uncomfortable with proceeding further.
  3. If the artist sketch gets approved by the commissioner, the buyer will NOT get a full refund anymore.
  1. If - for any reason - the commissioner will charge their money back on Paypal, the buyer's name and email will be put on a BEWARE and the buyer will get permanently banned from any future projects of the artist.
  1. The commissioner will have to contact and inform the artist BEFORE taking forceful actions
