For GURPS Veterans; you've got 125/-40, and Per and Will are not linked to IQ. We're using GCS, which has an option for this under Edit > Preferences
(The points for magic are added later, the 125/-40 is for the 'mundane' part of the character).
Character creation in GURPS is quite quick and easy, for those that know the system.
But you don't need to know the system. All you need to do is the following:
Come up with a character concept. While the 125 points for character creation might be meaningless to those who don't know GURPS, it effectively translates to characters that are on the level of star athletes, successful businesspeople, seasoned, veteran cops, successful scientists, veteran soldiers, or pillars of a community.
With that in mind, you need to decide what your character's going to be. An easy way to do this is answer the bullet points below:
Note that you can't be amazing at everything, and that being amazing at something means that you might lack in other areas.
Finally, motivation is good. Characters that aren't interested in making their mark on the world somehow probably aren't suitable. Mr Satisfied-with-9-to-5-desk-job isn't the type to receive such power.
