 Child in Hospital After Car Accident : By Lyndsey C.

Penny Brooks was struck by her family automobile and  was rushed to the local hospital with a badly broken leg and internal injuries.

 The incident happened when her mom was pulling out of the driveway bringing 11 year old Melody to school. Penny was said to have bolted from the front door then ran behind the car as it was going down the hill. Melody screamed and scratched at her mom to stop. Thankfully Melody helped her mom slow down by her actions.

 Penny was very lucky the car only went over her lower body. I am happy to say Penny has no brain damage and is making a full recovery with friends and family at the hospital, but will soon return back to her house.
