Thank you for your interest in joining the DFTMVA. Upon receipt of this completed application and the below documents, the board of the association will review the application and have a decision within 21 days.

*Owners of certain lots may request to be added to your policy as Additionally Insured, in which case the lot manager will need to be provided with the certificates at least 48 hours prior to the start of the event.

Please note that additional documents may be requested, such as a City of Wilmington business license for trucks using lots within city limits. Also the above documents may be checked at random intervals by the Association to ensure proper business protocol.

We the undersigned owners/operators of mobile vending vehicles in the State of Delaware, in recognition of the duty we have as responsible business owners to respect the communities that we serve, herby agree to abide by the following provisions in the operation of our businesses and vehicles:

  • Respond/Acknowledge within 24 hours any communications for the DFTMVA board.
  • Required to hold liability insurance policy to join and attend event associated with the DFTMVA. Minimum of $1 Million Property Damage & Personal Injury and $2 Million General Aggregate for each truck or trailer registered in DFTMVA.
  • In addition, for DFTMVA vending locations and events, separate certificates of insurance may be required for said physical addresses.
  • Abide by all laws, rules and regulations and city Health Ordinances as applicable to our operations in and around the state of Delaware.
  • Submit payments to DFTMVA and other vendor fees in a timely fashion. If a percentage of sales is required after the event, the payment will be made honestly.
  • Will not park within 300 feet of a similar food truck unless directed by Event Organizer.
  • Honor our commitments to Events, Parties, Lots, etc.
  • If a DTFMVA member is a no call/no show at a DFTMVA event without a very valid reason (I.E.: Medical Emergency, Accident or Mechanical Issues on the way to the event) there will be disciplinary action for the violating truck.
  • Zero Tolerance Policy - Two no call/no shows in one years time will result in expulsion from the DFTMVA. Calendar resets in January.
  • Selling of assigned event/vending location or giving away DFTMVA locations to DFTMVA or non DFTMVA members is prohibited.
  • Zero Tolerance Policy - One violation will result in expulsion from the association.
  • DTFMVA members must commit to being set up at or before the start of the event and must stay for the entire event, unless prearranged. This protects the integrity of the event and safety of our customers as we do not want the trucks moving through a crowd.
  • Three strikes policy: Three violations in 6 months time will result in expulsion from the association. Calendar resets every January and June.
  • DTFMVA vendors will tend to their own lines and vehicle only. Members are prohibited from wandering the event to find customers or scalping customers from another vendors line. Samples may be handed out at your vending window or directly in front of your vending window only, unless otherwise instructed by your Event manager.
  • Zero Tolerance Policy - One violation will result in expulsion from the association.
  • Will not play music at an excessive (illegal) volume.
  • Will not smoke, unless in designated areas.
  • Keep the area around our vehicle clean and remove all trash at the end of our service period, leaving the location as clean if not better than we arrived
  • Maintain a friendly, professional and courteous attitude towards customers, other business owners, and regulatory and law enforcement officials.
  • Cross promote other Rolling Revolution events on social media.
  • Uphold public state of Delaware health codes (NOTE: Rolling Revolution LLC is not responsible for enforcing public health or safety. However, if we receive serious complaints about food or sickness related to food, your membership may be revoked.)
  • Commit to giving back to the community though charitable contributions, volunteering, participating in fund-raising events for local charities, and engaging in other community service actives.
  • Uphold our Code of Ethics & Adhere to our By-Laws.

Benefits of Membership:

  • Rolling Revolution will offer free social media classes to all members. One on one training is also available.
  • Members will be cross promoted by other members and Rolling Revolution.
  • Members will be able to buy into recurring Rolling Revolution lots that are not available to non-members
  • Members will receive invitations to private Rolling Revolution events.
  • Members will be a part of group rate negotiations to large festivals.
  • Members will have access to private chat boards on Rolling Revolution’s website, where topics such as commissaries, mechanics, handymen, payroll issues, events, issues or problems, etc are discussed.
  • Members will benefit from Rolling Revolution’s reputation for providing quality food and vending trucks.
  • Rolling Revolution will provide corporations and office complexes with food or mobile vending trucks from our organization for lunches and dinners.

Fee Schedule:

$250 Yearly Fee

  • First year’s payment is submitted with application (only cashed if accepted into association, otherwise returned to owner uncashed).

Lot Fees

  • Rolling Revolution lot fees will vary by location and only go to cover administrative costs associated with the lot. These fees will be between $2 and $10/lot day.

Night Markets and Other Rolling Revolution Events

Food truck and mobile vendors have costs before even rolling in to an event, including but not limited to food prep, gas, employee payment, maintenance and inventory. For this reason, we will do our absolute best to keep fees to a minimum, and instead seek sponsors and outside craft vendors for such events. The cost of events will be communicated at least 1 week prior to event and will be collected from trucks the night of the event.

Receipt of Payment:

  • Members are to make all payments in a timely fashion.
  • Lot fees are collected by LotMom.
