Although we have had unseasonably nice weather this Winter, today is the actual first day of Spring. The Spring season lasts for the next 3 months. Congratulations to everyone for surviving another winter.  We made it!

Congratulations to Zoe Klass-Warch who will represent St. Paul Central as our Athena Award winner! The Athena Award recognizes outstanding high school senior female athletes on the basis of excellence in individual sport or participation and accomplishments in team sports. Zoe excelled in tennis for the past 5 years. She is currently the number one ranked tennis player in Minnesota.  Way to go Zoe!!

On Saturday the Central badminton team traveled to Edina to participate in the annual invitational tournament. Every girl won at least one game and three teams placed. Congrats to Annika, Chia and Lisa who earned third place and Xiong and Wamee who took second. The team has their first game at Burnsville on Wednesday.

Hey potential college goers. Interested in Saint Paul College as a PSEO option? A representative from there will be here this Thursday from 11-2 in the counseling office. A rep from U of Manitoba will be here Thursday as well at 11, and A U of M Rochester rep will be here Friday at 10:30. Stop by if you’re interested!

Seniors, the Devin Smith Scholarship Foundation is looking to give scholarships away to Central seniors who show a creative vision in their lives. Scholarship applications can be found in the CCRC, and can be turned in to Steve Olson. Applications are due by April 1st."
