Grants
- $500 for Black Women Artists from Tila Fund
- $5,000 grant for South Asian filmmaker from Tasveen Film Fund
- $30,000 Perez Prize grant for Public Art and Civic Design
- $25,000 from Pen America for debut short story collection
- $5,000 from Pen America for book of poetry
- $10,000 for teen artists (if you have kids!) from National Young Arts Foundation
- Grants up to $10,000 for young women barbershop/acapella singers (so random!) from Sweet Adelines Foundation
- Up to $35,000 for early mid career individuals in creative nonfiction and history from Howard Foundation
- Roy W. Dean Film Grant for films that contribute to society
- $1,000 grant for those who have contributed to understanding of history (includes mixed media projects and historical fiction)
- $100,000 prize for visionaries in urban development (includes writers!) from ULI Americas
- $3,000 each for Ezra Jack Keats Award for emerging author and illustrator in children's literature
- Up to $2500 for video and fine arts from Puffin Foundation - note you need to mail in a request for application beginning in September
- Ford Foundation grant for film and emerging media pieces that reduce inequality
- Up to $15,000 for non fiction pieces about the Pacific Islander experience
- Grants to artists who are actively exhibiting their work from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation
- Grants of up to $15,000 to jazz musicians for expenses of road tours
- RBC Emerging Artists in Social Impact Grant Program
- Up to $40,000 for media projects w/ social impact from Illuminate Fund
- Up to $5,000 to support artist journalism from Eyebeam
