Rivercrest High School Announcements


 Rivercrest Marching Band traveled to Paragould to perform at the annual ASBOA Region V Marching Assessment. The band received a Superior (1) Rating. This is the highest rating you can receive at this assessment. The last time the RHS Band received a superior rating in regional assessment was 2005.

District Administered online ACT for all juniors

This will most probably be administered beginning at 8:00. One day only.

ACT Aspire Summative

Test will begin at 9:00 each day. More information will be provided during training on 2/15.

Youth Leadership Meeting at Rivercrest November 14th in the Library.

One hundred fifty-five students in the State of Arkansas are receiving checks for a “qualifying” score (3, 4, or 5) on the AP Computer Science A Exam.  Thirty-one students scored “5” and will receive $1000 each. Forty-six students scored “4” and will receive $750 each.  Seventy-eight students scored “3” and will receive $250 each.

A total of 480 students in Arkansas took the AP Computer Science A Exam in May but a few were ineligible for the incentives.

Rivercrest Junior Alex Poag scored “4” on the exam and is receiving a check for $750 today.

Rivercrest Cheerleaders: Congratulations

Central Arkansas Classic in Maumelle, AR.

We won first place in our division. We were the Grand Champions (highest score of all). And we received the Judges’ Choice awards for Crowd Leading and Fight Song.
