Junior Scholarship Application

Volunteer hours exempt for 2022 applicants attending ASSA or Westminster with the understanding that they will volunteer at our specialties (conformation / performance) and need to sign up through the show and trial chairs.
As a junior member of the Lochland Shetland Sheepdog Club, you are eligible to apply for a $200.00 stipend / scholarship if you meet the application criteria.

Rules/Criteria:
*Minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 2.75
*Minimum of ten (10) hours of volunteering with LSSC within the last year; volunteering with other clubs are a bonus.
*You are not eligible to receive this stipend / scholarship in consecutive years (unless you are the only applicant).
*All qualifying wins/events under consideration need to be with a Sheltie.
*If you receive this stipend / scholarship, you are required to provide a 2-3 paragraph (200-400 word) essay describing the event you attended and how this stipend helped you further your skills as a junior handler. This is due 2 weeks after the event and will be posted on our website / social media.
