Position:  Coat Check Attendant

This position supports the smooth and efficient running of the Convention.  Please review the “General Information” document for a full description of expectations for all InCON volunteers.

This individual will report directly to Alex and/or Courtney - referred to as the ‘volunteer coordinators’ (position: Organizing Committee Member - Volunteer Coordinators)

There are 2 Coat Check Areas:  1 is located in the entrance area of the upper Florence Filberg Centre and the other is in the upper floor of the Native Sons Hall.  This service will be available so that convention attendees can store coats, backpacks and other items in this area.  A receipt will be provided to the attendee for each item, and the matching receipt # will be attached to the item.  There will be a cost to this service.  There will be specific hours that the Coat Check Area is open.  

Job Description:  

The Coat Check Attendant is responsible for receiving coats, backpacks and other items, ensuring that the tracking of items and receipts is done quickly, efficiently and properly.  This person will also be responsible for taking the fee from attendees for this service.  Should there be other duties required, this individual will be available to perform these duties to ensure the smooth running of the Coat Check Area.  

Position Requirements:  

The Coat Check Attendant must be organized and efficient, and have great people skills.  The ability to make change is required.
