Solar Power Cars By: TD

Making Solar Powered cars was very fun. I loved learning and experimenting with circuits and learning about gears. These techniques that I learned helped me make the solar power car. In the making of the solar power car we had to solder(  Taking metal and a hot metal stick and letting the metal drip onto the place where you want to solder. We also learned which gear pair would work the best.

We got a stick of wood, nails, hammer and gears and experimented! The finishing product was amazing. We tested our cars and they worked but sometimes it went backwards. All we had to do was switch the wires and walla! We had to position our solar panels so that the sun would shine on it and produce the most energy. The project was so fun and it helped to learn about gears, solar power and circuits. I hope i will do another project in the future!@
