People Sidebar
- The People sidebar has been overhauled!

- Bulk actions: The People table now allows you to perform actions on multiple people simultaneously!
- Click the checkbox next to certain people, or click the checkbox on the header row to select all! From there, click the “Actions” button in the top-right to perform an action on the selected people.
- Added several new actions that can be performed on people in the People table!
- Here are all of the actions:
- View a person in the tree (only available when one single person is selected)
- Modify a person’s attributes (only available when one single person is selected)
- Change node color(s)
- Change family colors(s)
- You can select whether to change the colors for families where the selected people are a child or parent
- Prepend text to names
- Append text to names
- Added a new “Add relation constraint” button to the People table!
- Clicking this button will give you a new modal. From here, you can select the type of relation and the person you want the constraint to apply to.
- When combined with the new bulk actions functionality, you can now perform actions on an entire branch in your tree!
- Supported relation types:
- Ancestor of
- Descendant of
- Ancestor or descendant of
- Family members of

- (PREMIUM USERS) Added the ability to save up to 10 of your filters!

- You can access the Saved Filters Menu by clicking the “Saved filters” button on the top-left of the People sidebar table
- You can save your currently active filter by clicking the “Save active filter” button
- By default, a newly saved filter’s name will be a list of the constraints included in the filter
- You can apply a previously-saved filter by clicking its name under “Saved filters”
- You can rename or delete a saved filter by using the buttons to the right of a saved filter’s name
- You can quickly view a saved filter’s constraints by hovering over the “X constraints” bubble next to a filter’s name
- Previously saved custom highlight mode filters will be saved under the name (Filter from legacy custom highlight mode)!
- Added a new “chips” display for filters in the People table.

- This provides an easier way to track any active constraints you have configured on the People table.
- Clicking the “X” button on a “chip” will delete the given constraint(s).
- Clicking the “Clear all active constraints” button will delete ALL active constraints.
- Removed the “Custom Highlight Mode” section from the People sidebar
- Don’t worry - your custom highlight mode filters have been saved as a regular saved filter! View the “Added the ability to save up to 10 of your filters!” section for more information!
- Removed select functionality from the People table
- “New person” button
- Edit and Delete buttons on individual rows. These can now be done via the “Actions” button on the top-right of the table
- Various visual tweaks and enhancements to the People table
Topbar
- Replaced the “Custom Highlight Mode” with a new “Custom Filter Highlight”

- This highlight mode allows you to select a filter to highlight in your tree when the Custom Filter Highlight mode is enabled.
- Click the dropdown button next to the filter icon to select the filter to apply when the Custom Filter Highlight mode is enabled
- When selecting a filter, you have two options:
- Active filter in the People bar table
- One of your previously-saved filters
- Previously, the Custom Highlight Mode only allowed you to have one saved filter to highlight at a time. Now, you can instantly swap between multiple filters!
- The filter selection menu works similarly to the Saved Filters Menu in the People sidebar table: You can rename, delete, or view the constraints of a saved filter here too!

Tree Display
- Added a new option for “People table” in the right-click menu for nodes in your tree!

- This menu option allows you to instantly filter to a person’s branch directly in your tree
- Clicking one of the 4 options will open the People sidebar and automatically create a new relation constraint that matches the option you selected. From here, you can perform bulk actions on the branch you have filtered to
- WARNING: Clicking one of these options will overwrite all active constraints currently configured in the People sidebar table

- Added a “What’s new” dropdown that describes the latest releases.
- Will open by default if there has been a new version released since your last login.

Misc.
- Reversed the icons for “Ignore” and “Unignore” buttons in match data tables
- Added messages informing the user that they are viewing the POI’s information when opening the person details sidebar for a hypothesis location
- Standardized the Sex attribute to three options: Unknown, Male, and Female. Before, there was a fourth state that was just empty.
- Small visual updates in various places around the app
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug where calculations would break if people in the tree had certain characters in their names
- Fixed a bug where the POI would show up in certain node dropdown lists where it shouldn’t (e.g., when adding a new parent or child to someone via the person details sidebar)
- Fixed a bug where hypothesis locations could be renamed via their sidebars
