Activity Summary:

In this activity, you will reflect on your e-Portfolio and what you have created thus far.

STEP 2:        

Think about about the learning experiences you have encountered from developing your e-Portfolio. Reflect on the original presentation we watched at the beginning of this lesson where we learned about Famous Failures and Growth Mindset.

Respond to the following prompts by adding a new post to your My Journal page under ELA 11 Artifacts on your e-Portfolio: (see screenshot below)

• What was my favorite part of this activity? Why?
• What was my biggest challenge? Did I overcome that challenge? How? If not, why not?
• Review the artifacts you have created thus far. (Number 2 through 7 in Step 3 (above))

• Which artifact shows my best work? How do you know?
• Which artifact needs improvement? How do you know?

• What did I learn about my mindset during this activity?

• Did I embrace or avoid challenges?
• Did I put effort in improving my work or give up easily?
• Did I feel threatened by others work or inspired?
• Did I learn from criticism or ignore useful feedback?

• Do I believe that an e-Portfolio can be helpful for you to document MY growth and learning?

• Why or why not?

• What can I do to make this ePortfolio a working tool for my future?
