Our October event is a guided tour of “The Grey & Simcoe Foresters Regimental Museum” on Wednesday October 17th 2018. The museum is located at 36 Mulcaster Street in Barrie. We will meet at 10:45am and start the tour at 11:00am. There is no cost for the event. The museum offers an insight into the contribution the Grey and Simcoe Foresters Regiment made to the development of Canada.

We will enjoy a lunch at “The Queens Hometown Bar and Grill” after our tour on a “pay for your own basis”. The Queens is located at 94 Dunlop Street East, just down the hill from the museum. December 4, 2018 11:00 am The Country Life Banquet Hall”

Our December event is the Christmas Luncheon on December 4th 2018 at “The Country Life Banquet Hall”, 85 Theme Park Drive, Wasaga Beach. We should arrive any time after 11:00 am for drinks and coffee before we sit down at 12:00 noon for the turkey luncheon with all the trimmings. The cost is $40.00 per person. There will be door prizes and a 50/50 draw. Please mark it on your calendar and buy your tickets early.

PAYMENT FOR EVENTS: There is now a change in policy regarding the acceptance of cash for payment to the social events. Aside from cheques, cash will be accepted and a receipt will be issued however the exact amount in cash will be required since no change will be given back.
