There are 205 Cats to unlock in the game from the various Areas and Locations.
The game has 4 different Locations:

As you unlock each Area or Location in the game you get more, Cats, Furniture, Furniture Collections, Special Album Images and Upgrades for the Infinity Tree, Fishing Rod and Fish Storage.

■ Fish and Fish Storage - Restock Fish
▪︎ Fish - Cats eat 20 Fish each from your Fish Storage every time they visit the game. Restock Fish Storage by catching Fish at the River or using Canned Fish.
▪︎ Assembly Parts - Use Assembly Parts to Build Furniture and for parts to upgrade Fishing Rod, get from fishing, randomly given by Blue or Red Fish only.
▪︎ Kitty Archive Shards - Use Kitty Archive Shards to unlock the blank ( _ _ _ _ ) words in Cat Profiles, get from fishing, randomly given by Blue or Red Fish only.
▪︎ Fishing Pot - Fishing Pot is earned by watching an advert or using an ad skip coupon, earn upto 9 Canned Fish (450 Fish). Fishing Pot can be activated once an hour. Canned Fish worth 50 Fish each also given by Yellow Fish caught at the River.
▪︎ Fish Storage - Fish Storage is separate for each Location, use Canned Fish or go Fishing - enter to the River to Fish from the Location you want to restock the Fish Storage. Upgrade Fish Storage to minimum 200 or 300 Fish per Location.
▪︎ Kitty's Gift - Kitty's Gift (red gift boxes) randomly given by visiting Cats, Kitty's Gift can be found in the game inventory.

■ Basement/Attic Door Open vs Basement/Attic Door Closed and How to Enter or Exit Basement/Attic

To enter or exit the Basement tap on the Door (tap on the arrow at top of Basement stairs to exit the Forest Cabin Basement).
Location Expansion Areas - Forest Cabin, Campsite/Outdoors and the Beach House Locations have their own unique Basement Expansion Area and the Botanical Garden Location has an additional Attic Expansion Area (meet the requirements at each Location to unlock the Locations Expansion Area).
■ Daytime and Nighttime
Some Cats only visit during Daytime only 6am-7pm or Nighttime only 7pm-6am, some Cats will visit Anytime Day or Night. The Game runs in real time to your relevant Timezone.
The Sky is best viewed at the River/Infinity Tree Location, shows daytime/daylight or nighttime/darkness.
Rainbow Shard (claimed with Whiskers, obtain 1 Whiskers a week by daily check-in on game for 7 days, links for more information on Whiskers, Daily Check-In Reward see links at the end of this list) the Rainbow can be seen during Daytime only 6am-7pm at the River/Infinity Tree Location, Rainbow is Decoration only.
Moon Shard, Full Moon Shard and Stars Shard can be seen during Nighttime only 7pm-6am at the River/Infinity Tree Location, the Faint Moon can be seen during the last 2 hours of Daylight 5pm-7pm. Moons and Stars claimed with Whiskers.

Cats Visit for 15 minutes and then the cat will leave and they will not return for a minimum of 2 hours, each Cat eats 20 Fish from your Fish Storage. Cats randomly leave a Kitty's Gift (red gift boxes) in inventory. Cats earn ½ a red paw print from each visit. Full Red Paw prints unlocks Cat GIF (Cat responds when tapped).
Once a Cat appears in your Game they will be added in your Cat Profiles.
Unlock the Cat GIF by having Cat Visits to get full red paw print stamps Cats earn ½ a Red Paw Print Stamp per visit).
Amount of Red Paw Prints = amount Cat Visits required to unlock Cat GIF:

Cats receive ½ a Red Pawprint per visit.
Unlock the Cat GIF to see the Cat's Special Behaviors, unlocks the cat's animation, the cat will now respond when tapped (example: tapping cat makes the cat meow, turn around, open eyes etc).
River Fishing/Infinity Tree Wood Harvesting Location (River/Infinity Tree is the same River Fishing/Infinity Tree from all 4 Locations, Fish Storage is separate for each Location, access River from each Location to restock each Locations Fish Storage - swipe from left to right on screen to access River/Fishing from each Location).
Collect 10 Yellow Fish in your River to unlock the Golden Carp Decorative Fish (for more information see links for Golden Carp at the bottom of this list.

■ How to Unlock Basement (Forest Cabin/Cottage Location)
To unlock the Forest Cabin/Cottage Basement you must have built a minimum of 35 items of furniture and you need to craft the Golden Cushion (Secret Room) once the golden cushion is complete tap on the cushion to get the Golden Key and this makes the basement door unlock, the basement is the small door towards the back of the steps (when the basement door is open with a light on a cat or cats are visiting the basement, if the door is closed then no cats are visiting the Basement).

Enter the game at the exact minute of time or if already in the Game you can enter to the Celebration Cake Location at the exact minute of time from the Campsite, Beach House or Botanical Garden Botanical Garden Location (do NOT enter from the River Fishing/Infinity Tree Location as it will not work).

Once all these items have been built then claim the Beach House Basement Door reward from the completed Furniture Collection, to get to Furniture Collection swipe from Right to Left across your screen then tap the 4th tab with the bedside cupboard icon, then scroll down to the Furniture Collection with the door reward and claim the completed Furniture Collection reward by tapping the mallet/hammer icon, the door then appears to the right-side of the Beach House Location.
Enter or exit the Beach House Basement by tapping the small door hatch, when the Beach House Basement Door Hatch is Open with a light on a cat or cats are visiting the Beach House Basement, if the door is closed with no light then no cats are visiting the Beach House Basement.

To unlock the Botanical Garden Location, you must build a minimum of 100 items of furniture or more at the Beach House Location including these 4 items:

▪︎ Royal Tub (Beach House Bedroom Furniture item)
▪︎ Square Slab Table (Beach House Basement Furniture item)
▪︎ Large Flamingo Ring (Beach House Basement Furniture item)
Square Slab Table and Large Flamingo Ring are Beach House Basement items and can only be built once the Beach House Basement has been unlocked.
Once all these items have finished building this will unlock the Botanical Garden Location. To visit the Botanical Garden Location either swipe downwards on your screen or tap the Yellow Cat Head Icon (top right of your screen), then select the Botanical Garden Location Tab at the bottom of your screen (4th tab with Botanical Garden Icon).
Once the Botanical Garden Location is unlocked you can access the Botanical Garden Location from the Forest Cabin, Campsite/Outdoor or Beach House Locations.
Once the Botanical Garden Location unlocks the Botanical Garden Furniture will become available to build in the Furniture List at the Botanical Garden Location and the Botanical Garden Cats will be available to unlock in the Cat Profiles List at the Botanical Garden Location.
To access the River Fishing/Infinity Tree area from the Botanical Garden Location swipe left to right on your screen in the same way as you would at the Forest Cabin, Campsite/Outdoors or Beach House Locations this then takes you to the River Fishing and Infinity Tree Location. The River Fishing and Infinity Tree are the same Fishing River and Infinity Tree from any of the Locations.
