LILY TANG WILLIAMS ENDORSED BY FORMER COLORADO REPUBLICAN STATE PARTY SECRETARY, LANA FORE (lanafore@gmail.com)

Lana Fore latest political involvement was as the Colorado State Republican Party Secretary, former Senate District 10 Vice-Chairwoman, former Secretary of HD 16 and current Secretary of the Colorado Springs Republican Women.

After Republican U.S. Senate candidate in Colorado, Darryl Glenn, attacked the Republican Presidential nominee, activists have stepped up to call out the hypocrisy of his statement. Lana Fore, having been a critic of Darryl Glenn’s voting record, prior to the primary, has come out in support of Libertarian candidate, Lily Tang Williams.

“Lily Tang Williams is best suited for the role of United States Senator as she is a mother, a wife and a naturalized United States citizen who endured the Communist Party of China. I feel very strongly about her being the right person for the job as Colorado’s US Senator to replace Michael Bennet,” said Fore. “Cowards like, Darryl Glenn, Cory Gardner and others who jump on the establishment bandwagon and play into the rhetoric is exactly why we have corruption in the major parties.”

Ms. Fore’s 25 years in publishing, started out in radio, she continued her work in newspapers and magazines throughout the country.  Lana was the originator of the El Paso County Tea Party and has fought the liberal politicians on gun legislation, voter fraud and numerous other bills. She was elected to the El Paso County Executive Committee, past editor of Tusk Talk (the official newsletter of the Colorado Federation of Republican Women) a precinct leader and a former board member of the Cheyenne Mountain Republican Forum.

Lana is a current NRA Instructor and has a passion for empowering women and children to enjoy the sport of shooting.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LILY TANG WILLIAMS ENDORSED BY WELL-KNOWN COLORADO ACTIVIST, KANDA CALEF

After Republican U.S. Senate candidate in Colorado, Darryl Glenn, attacked the Republican Presidential nominee, activists have stepped up to call out the hypocrisy of his statement.  Kanda Calef, having been a critic of Darryl Glenn’s voting record, prior to the primary, has come out in support of Libertarian candidate, Lily Tang Williams.

“We constantly hear from the establishment of both parties, ‘We have to Unite!’  Yet, that statement only seems to apply when their purchased candidates are the ones whose names are on the ballot, as can be seen by Glenn’s wishy-washy stance on his own Party’s nominee,” stated Calef.  “When the Republican Party elites were backing Trump, Glenn was more than willing to associate with him at events.  Now that McCain and his ilk are against the nominee, Glenn jumps on board the hypocrisy wagon.  It is time for Americans to wake up to the reality that both the Democratic and Republican Party elites are not interested in what is best for the people of the United States, but are interested in power plays and politics.  Lily Tang Williams has seen what happens when power and politics are the driving force in a country, having lived through Communism in China.  We need leaders like her who will crack the stranglehold that the wealthy elites have on the political system in this country.”

A Colorado native, Kanda Calef (kcalef@gmail.com) holds her Master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of Denver.  Upon graduation, she became a state-renowned community organizer and political activist.  She is currently an elected member of the El Paso County Republican Party Executive Committee and a Republican Precinct Leader.  She was the former President of the Colorado Springs Republican Women.  She ran for Colorado Springs City Council in 2015 and lost after several developers united to spend over $100,000 to defeat her.  Her platform was grounded on full transparency of the city’s budget, which threatened those who benefit from backdoor deals with politicians.  Her dynamic personality, well-reasoned policy arguments, and genuine desire to help Coloradoans to prosper have rendered her very influential in Colorado politics

U.S. Senate Candidates’ Town Hall Tour Comes To Colorado University in Boulder

(Boulder, CO) –A 2016 Rasumussen Poll showed that two out of every three American voters believe that wealthy donors, special interests, and the media have too much influence over our politics.  Both financial support and media coverage can be elusive for third party candidates to make their candidacy and views known to voters, which is why Libertarian U.S. Senate Candidate Lily Williams and Green Party U.S. Senate Candidate Arn Menconi decided to join forces to make their alternative views better known to Colorado Voters. They have chosen to schedule town halls throughout the state dubbing this the ‘U.S. Senate Candidates’ Town Hall Tour’.

Williams and Menconi will hold the next town hall at CU Boulder, Thursday, September 15th at 7 PM in Old Main Chapel. Doors open at 6:30 PM. This event is being sponsored by the Free and Equal Elections Foundation and the Progressive Students Alliance at CU Boulder. It will be moderated by Corey Hutchins of the Colorado Independent.

Their first town hall was held last Friday, September 9th at Colorado Mesa University in Mesa, CO, Williams and Menconi left local Colorado voters intrigued by their differences on issues versus the current sentiment that neither major political party is representing the will of the American people.

Lily Williams states “I am running for U.S. Senate because I hate to see the country I love becoming more like the country I left.”  Williams escaped the political repression and devastating poverty of China during Mao Zedong’s Cultural Revolution, seeking a better life in the United States.  She shares with wit and humor her inspirational story of having been a “slave” in China, then her journey to becoming an American citizen starting with only $100 and a cursory understanding of English and now finding herself running as a U.S. Senate candidate.

Arn Menconi, Green Party candidate for U.S. Senate served as County Commissioner for Eagle County, Colorado winning two elections and serving 8 years in which he managed a $100 million dollar budget.  In 1993, Menconi came to fame by founding the Snowboard Outreach Society (SOS), a nonprofit organization that provided outdoor education, values-based leadership, and recreational activities for at-risk youth. This program now successfully reaches over 40,000 students annually in 15 different states

Williams and Menconi announced this collaborative tour via Facebook on August 18th. They plan to share their unique platforms with potential voters and connect with disenfranchised citizens who are less than enthusiastic about the traditional two-party options. They intend to continue the tour in Fort Collins, Denver, and Colorado Springs.

U. S. Senate Candidates’ Debates

On September 10th, Lily Tang Williams took the Club 20 debate stage in Grand Junction with Senator Michael Bennet and Commissioner Darryl Glenn in the first of several planned debates.  During the debate, Mr. Glenn invited both Mr. Bennet and Ms. Williams to a Town Hall meeting to continue the discussion between the candidates.

Since that time, both Mr. Glenn and Mr. Bennet have refused to participate in a few debates organized by Colorado media organizations. As a Libertarian candidate, Ms. Williams was not invited to participate in those debates but she offered to fill in the vacant spot left by either Glenn or Bennet.

In fact, regarding the Town Hall proposed recently by Lily for U.S. Senate Committee, both Bennet and Glenn campaigns did not respond in writing to the invitation. When asked in person, Mr. Glenn was quoted saying, “I will commit to one when you get Michael Bennet to be there”. What bullet is Commissioner Glenn attempting to dodge here? Why did he act just like Senator Bennet to deprive the voters an opportunity to hear from him and Ms. Williams?

Clearly, both Mr. Bennet and Mr. Glenn are not interested in facing Ms. Williams again, but she remains committed to open and honest discussions in a public forum. She challenges both Mr. Bennet and Mr. Glenn to face all other candidates in the U. S. Senate race at a time and place of their choosing. Colorado voters deserve to hear from all the candidates and make well informed decisions regarding this critical race.

WHY LILY? BECAUSE VOTING FOR THE LESSER EVIL ISN’T GOOD ENOUGH!

Endorsement by Thomas L. Krannawitter, Ph.D

thomas.krannawitter@gmail.com

By the 1850s, slavery had become the glaring, unavoidable moral-political problem in the United States. There were at that time two major political parties: One was inseparable from what was known as the “Slave Power.” The Democratic Party represented the expansion of government power and use of public policy for the purpose of spreading slavery wherever possible.

The other, the Whig Party, offered no unified or principled opposition to Democrats or to slavery. The bumbling Whig Party proved worse than useless in the fight against abolish slavery: Whigs actually helped the Democratic Party by making Democrats appear better when contrasted against the divided, confused, unprincipled Whig Party.

The problem of slavery in America would be solved, eventually, only with the rise of a new third party, the Republican Party, dedicated at that time to the elimination of government-sanctioned slavery because it was dedicated to the natural rights principles of the Declaration of Independence.

The good news is that Americans did get rid of legalized slavery, within a mere two generations after independence—faster than any nation ever had abolished slavery, by far. The bad news is that the elimination of slavery came at tremendous cost. In money. In sweat. In sacrifice. In blood and tears.

The bad news is that those in government kept looking for ways to expand their power. They still are. Today, every problem, whether real or imaginary, is used as an excuse to squeeze the sphere of freedom into yet smaller orbits, while expanding government regulations, control, and spending.

The bad news is that the Democratic Party continues to represent the expansion of government power wherever possible. The bad news is that shortly after the fight over slavery, the Republican Party became what the Whig Party used to be: divided, confused, unprincipled, bumbling.

Like the old Whig Party, the Republican Party today has proven ineffective at stopping the Democratic expansion of government power while inadvertently improving the public image of the Democratic Party—simply because so many Americans find Republicans so unattractive.

And just like voting for Whigs as the lesser evil did not solve the problem of growing government power and expanding slavery back then, so too voting for Republicans does not solve the problem of growing government power and a shrinking realm of individual freedom now.

So let us abandon the tired old tactic of voting for lesser evils before our freedom is entirely gone. Let us vote for fellow citizens who are good, who love freedom for the precious thing it is! Let us find those who know the ugliness of unchecked, unrestrained, unlimited government power and control, citizens who will fight to put government back into the small constitutional box it belongs so that we can live as we choose!

Let us begin with a freedom woman right here: Lily Tang Williams: The only Colorado candidate for U.S. Senate who trusts fellow citizens to raise their children, run their businesses, keep and use their own private property, and live their lives…freely.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

April 27, 2016

The El Paso County Republican Strategy Forum based in Colorado Springs declares that it has unanimously endorsed Lily Tang Williams, the official nomine of the Libertarian Party of Colorado, for U.S. Senate.

Earlier today, Lily Tang Williams spoke to the group about her life in Communist China under Mao’s regime without any civil liberties, privacy, and economic freedom. Her passion for individual rights and freedom and commitment to the reduction of government size and control struck a responsive chord with the group. Even though Williams is running as a Libertarian not a Republican, the group concluded that she was better than any of the Republicans running for the same office.

January 12, 2016

LILY TANG WILLIAMS ANNOUNCES CANDIDACY FOR U.S. SENATE AS A LIBERTARIAN

Lily Tang Williams , a Chinese immigrant from People’s Republic of China,  who is the State Chair of the Libertarian Party of Colorado, State Director of Our America Initiative, recent graduate of Leadership of the Rockies Class 2015,  self-employed entrepreneur, professional speaker, grassroots liberty activist, and a Common Core fighter, announces her candidacy for U.S. Senate on a Libertarian ticket. She will challenge the Democrat incumbent Colorado Senator Michael Bennet.

Williams states, “I chose to come to America to be free and to escape China’s one-party police state. I am a big believer of individual rights and liberty, self-ownership and responsibility, free market and entrepreneurship, the 2nd Amendment, and privacy. I will go to Washington to stop the madness. I cannot be bought.”

America has become more and more like China with an increasingly powerful and seemingly unrestrained Federal government, spending and printing money to buy votes and please special interests. Lily Tang Williams opposes heavy and unbearable regulations on the economy and businesses, government intrusion into privacy, unconstitutional surveillance, indoctrination and data mining of our children, gun control, and Socialist medicine.

Lily Tang Williams will fight for your freedom and her freedom because she has been fighting for freedom all her life.
