Lent Offering for New Genesis House Facility Surpasses All-Time Record! Many thanks to all who contributed so generously to our Lent appeal to help Genesis House Recovery Center renovate their new building! To grow its ability to serve those seeking to live in recovery, Genesis House is moving into the former LSS (Lutheran Social Services)  office building on Bluemound Rd. west of Springdale Rd. It’s an exciting development, one that will allow them start serving women as well as men, but it will need extensive interior renovation and lots of TLC. Part of that will come from our Lent appeal. For all of Lent, we raised $7,324. Thank you for supporting such an important mission. To get more involved with the renovations and supporting people in recovery talk to Genesis House advocate Greg Bonk (gandjbonk@gmail.com) or Pr. Muriel.

Translators Needed! The Bread of Healing Clinic is looking for  language translators to assist medical practitioners working with individuals who do not speak English. The single biggest need is for Spanish. There is also a frequent need for French and then occasionally for Arabic, Hindu, and Urdu. If you are interested in volunteering in the capacity of a translator (or are connected to someone who could), please visit the Bread of Healing website to fill out the volunteer form or contact Rick Caesar at 1-414-977-0001 for more information. (Patient appointments are always scheduled so translation would be at predictable times and clinic locations.)
