Welcome to our newest (returning) staff member Collette Presley in 8th grade! Mrs. Presley is a veteran middle school teacher with a heart of gold for Newcastle School. Please join us tomorrow morning in RM #301 at 7:30 a.m. for an introduction and a cup of coffee!

Student Council and the Leadership exploratory class are off to a great start! We have many great activities planned this year, and are excited about promoting positive school culture and Newcastle Knight pride and spirit! Here are some upcoming events:

            green or Hawaiian Ohana wear! The class with the most spirit in K-5

            and in 6-8 will receive Bobblehead Bob and Otter Pops!

Site Council Seeking New Members

Are you interested in making a difference on the Newcastle campus? We are seeking interested parents to serve on the Site Council. The Site Council is an advisory group of parents and staff who give input to the Newcastle School District Administration and Board on a variety of topics such as: health and nutrition, student progress, curriculum, and facilities. The Site Council holds one meeting per month after school, and we ask for a 2 year term commitment. If you are interested in participating, please click the link below.

Harvest Ridge School will be starting classes on Monday, August 29th. Please remember that if you have arranged for your child to meet you at the end of the walking path, you are to park somewhere other than their school parking lot for pick up.

Odyssey of the Mind is now accepting new coaches and members. Does your child think outside the box,  come up with creative solutions to problems,  love to act, or enjoy building devices?  Try OM! Interested in being a larger part of your child's school community?   The PTC is a non-profit organization raising funds to provide major contributions to our school!  Funds raised provide programs, technology, beautification, assemblies, events and much more!    One of the easiest ways you can contribute is through your day to day shopping!  Be sure to follow the directions for each of our contributing stores!                                                                                                  

This is an ALL VOLUNTEER membership and we need your help to raise the most money for your students!   Be sure to participate in our membership drive to help kick start the year!  

Don't miss our annual Night of Knights Dinner Auction with an Awesome 80's theme this year!  Volunteers are welcomed and encouraged to help with this event!
