   LEAD

Family. You love them dearly and you can’t live with them and you can’t live without them. Invading your privacy, getting on your nerves, and just being a nuisance. But, just imagine all that not just home but at school too !

It’s difficult for siblings to have brothers and sisters in the same school as you. Joshua Sanchez said “My brother always bothers me in the hallway which causes me to be late” Natalie Marengo also attends Curtis along with 3 of her cousins, she says that the cons of going to school with her family members is that they constantly embarrass her and show off in front of their friends. A Junior who goes to Wagner High School, Kareem Anderson, has a sister who is a Freshman who also attends the same school. “I don’t like when all these guys try to talk to my sister, but luckily they get scared when they see in the halls”, stated Kareem.

There are some pros to having siblings and relatives in the same school as you. Alexis Tyson says “That some pros of having siblings in the same school as me is that there’s always someone that I’m comfortable with when I need to talk to someone about any of my problems.” A beautiful young student, Natalie Marengo, also says “They always have your back and they’re always there for me when I need help with school work.”

It appears that there are positives and negatives of having family members in the same school as you. They can help you out with homework, have your back if there is ever a problem, and if you ever forget something at home they can bring for you. But, if they are annoying at home they will definitely bother you at school. It’s bad enough you get antagonized at home now it happens at school too.
