The Game of Fief

You have been given a character in a Medieval Role Play. Develop that character using your creative and critical thinking skills.

You are to write a paragraph that:

-describes your character in their usual setting

-is well structured (lead sentence, supporting sentences, concluding sentence)

-is at least 7 sentences long

-demonstrates good word choice (adjectives/adverbs are varied)

-is historically accurate (hair, skin colour, clothing, accessories of the time)

Steps (All steps are to be in class):

1. Brainstorm- List adjectives and phrases that describe your character’s appearance/personality
2. Rough Draft- Draft a paragraph describing that character (You can choose the point of view)
3. Edit/Proofread Draft- Circle all your adjectives. Have you enough? Have you chosen the best adjectives? Could you choose better ones? Edit and improve your writing.
4. Publish for Display - Type your paragraph in 12 point, Times New Roman font

The writing will be assessed using the 6+ Writing Rubric.
