You do not have to answer question #1, if you are writing a report about the school concerts.
1. Please attach Concert Program and concert ticket except school concert.
2. What instrument do you play?
I play the piano and the violin. I started piano first when I was younger, and then I learned violin a little later.
3. Which song is your favorite song in this concert? Why?(Please write down two reasons to describe why you like it the best in about 50 words) Please draw and explain the diagram of the stage/instrument setting.
My favorite song in the concert was the 3rd song. I really liked it because the cello, violin, and piano all fit so well together and they all complimented each other very well. I especially liked the cello’s deeper tones and how it was a bit of a contrast to the higher notes of the piano or violin. I thought the violin player was really good. The song wasn’t super fast that he had to rush to play the notes but the way he played was really loud and clear even when changing strings.
The stage/instrument setting of the stage was that there was a piano near to the left side of the stage and it was there the whole time. If there were cello or violin players, they had their stands towards the end of the piano. The strings would be in front of the piano though.
4. Please describe the beginning and ending songs in the program in about 50 words (Tell me what do you think? Do you like it or not? Why?)
The beginning song was a nice peaceful rendition of the canon. I did really enjoy it because it was played well, and was very smooth. The person kept pace very well throughout the whole song. The ending song was really cool. The harmony of the strings and the different notes somehow all came together. Also, the changes of pace throughout the song made it really different from all the songs. The best part was how at the first part of the song, the piano would play first, and then the strings would follow. It was unexpected and very different from the other songs where the piano and strings would play at the same time.
5. Please describe the audience behavior in this concert in about 30 words.(Did Audience interrupt the performance by making noise such as standing up and down or coming in and out during the performance? Did the audience show their respect by attending concert on time, wearing properly outfit, clapping hands at the right time and giving quiet support and fully attention to the performer? Did the audience enjoy the performance?)
The audience was pretty respectful, there was some whispering during the performance, but it only got out of control near the end of the concert. The people were clapping and paying attention to the performances, so it wasn’t super chaotic. However, some people were laughing and talking to their friends in the back of the room. Towards the beginning of the concert, people were more respectful and not talking during the performances, but they began to lose interest as it went on and were being pretty rude to the performers by the end. The audience was respectful towards the performers by showing up on time, but not wearing appropriate clothing.
