Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

We were able to apprehend a fleeing subject within the first two weeks of having Textcaster available!

Arrests and Reports 

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made arrests and took multiple reports during the week of July 23, 2024 through July 29, 2024

July 23, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies arrested Austin James at the St. Clair County Courthouse on an Osceola Police Department warrant for Possession of Controlled Substance. Bond is $10,000 cash surety.

July 23, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies arrested Anthony Franklin at the St. Clair County Courthouse on Laclede County warrant for Failure to Appear-Fail to Obey Traffic Control Device. Bond is $300 cash only.

July 23, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies responded to Northeast C Highway, Osceola, for a report of stealing. Items stolen include bass fishing rods and reels, tacklebox, and gas can. Investigation is ongoing.

July 23, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies responded to 5th Street, Osceola, for a report of fraud. Scam was through Facebook. Information taken and investigation is ongoing.

July 23, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies responded to Northeast 800 Road, Lowry City, for a report of property damage. Samuel Betancourt was arrested and is being charged with Property Damage-2nd Degree.

July 24, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies were notified of found property on Southeast 476 Road, Osceola. Item found is an iPhone. Phone is being held for safekeeping.

July 24, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies responded to Northwest 1401 Road, Appleton City, for a domestic disturbance. Parties separated.

July 25, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies and Osceola Police Department conducted a search warrant on Main Street in Osceola. Chase Robinson was arrested and charged with Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

July 25, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies responded to Pine Street, Osceola, for a report of trespassing. Report taken.

July 26, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies responded to Lowry City for a report of road rage. Information was taken.

July 26, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies responded to Southwest 778 Road, Osceola, for abandoned property. Property was towed.

July 26, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies responded to Southwest 82 Highway, El Dorado Springs, for a report of a violation of protection order. Report was taken.

July 28, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies responded to Southeast 575 Road, Collins, for a runaway juvenile. Investigation is ongoing.

July 28, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on 5th Street in Appleton City. Peter Creasy was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated.

July 29, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies arrested Christopher Hughes at the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office on a St. Clair County warrant for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. Bond is $10,000 cash only.

July 29, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies responded to Northeast 101 Road, Osceola, for a report of an abandoned vehicle. Vehicle was blocking the roadway and was towed from the scene.

July 29, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies arrested Destiny Crain at the St. Clair County Jail on an Osceola Municipal warrant for Operating Vehicle Without Maintaining Financial Responsibility. Bond is $141 cash only.

July 29, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies responded to 15th Street, Collins, for a call regarding trespassing. Information was referred to the Juvenile Office.

July 29, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies responded to Southwest k Highway, Osceola, for a check well-being call. Subject was well.

July 29, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies responded to West Hirni Street, Appleton City, for a call regarding threats. Information taken and investigation is ongoing.
