Tab 1

Welcome to my Radioapple masterdoc! Before we get started I want to mention a few important things.

  1. This document is speculation based on evidence and character/animation analysis. This is made for fun and to compile receipts and my thoughts!

  1. Animation is EXTREMELY intentional, especially 2D frame by frame animation. Hazbin especially as it has a very limited timeframe, things that are not essential are cut for time. I say this as someone who is studying animation, has directed an animated short, and who has a special interest in animation. Keep this information in mind when reading over the doc.

  1. This doc includes a lot of Viv’s likes. Sharing and giving meaning to Viv’s likes is a controversial topic, but let it be known that she has never stopped us from looking and has encouraged and approved of the #👑 💖 tag that is used for posts that she likes.

She also often likes takes that she agrees with and aligns with her thoughts. This is why I have chosen to include them.

I want to take this moment to thank everyone who helped out with this doc. Cellophane for verifying information for me, to both Tooth and Cello for beta reading, to my boyfriend for all his insight, and to all those in the Radioapple Hell for their receipt gathering!

Now for the moment you’ve been wanting for

 THE DEVIL AND HIS SINNER

Let’s start with a general overview of their characters. Alastor and Lucifer are foils of each other, created to contrast and parallel one another. Lucifer hates sinners, damned to only see the worst of humans and resents being put in a position of power. While Alastor, a sinner, revels in bloodshed and yearns for power. Lucifer is a depiction of the devil focusing on the fallen angel side, while Alastor could be considered a depiction of the stereotypical devil (Red with horns, charismatic, deal maker.)

Their differences and similarities are even highlighted by their designs.

They also parallel each other in their style of music. I want to give major props to Tooth and my boyfriend for their insight on this since I am not familiar with music genre lore.

Obviously Alastor’s songs/general vibe is influenced by jazz music and in S2 we see rock music be used for Lucifer.

What’s interesting about their respective genres is that they both have roots in the blues genre but went in different ways, to quote my boyfriend, “jazz went towards smoothness and improv and rock went more towards invoking powerful emotions through intensity. similarly lucifer is a lot less subtle then alastor in his wants for family while alastor hides his want for family and security behind a want for power.”

While Tooth brings up the fact that their duet together is electroswing, which is a more modern genre and represents how well these two characters mesh.

Now, let’s talk about their dynamic in the actual show.

As soon as they meet, they are immediately attracted to each other (not necessarily in a romantic/sexual sense). We don’t see Lucifer speak a word to any other hotel member except Alastor (and Vaggi), who seems already annoyed at Lucifer’s presence despite this being their first meeting.

Lucifer manages to get under Alastor’s skin  which causes Alastor to lose his composure in a way we don’t often see.

But even then, we see Alastor mirroring Lucifer’s pose and looking at him though someone else is talking. This is a subconscious behavior often done if you want someone to like/trust you. Interesting that Alastor chose to do so here and now.

We see Lucifer do something similar when trapped by Vox. He looks over to Alastor, not once, not twice, but three times while talking to Vox. Again, another subconscious behavior, he’s looking over to Alastor to gauge his reaction. (Shout out to my boyfriend for the psychology insights <3) Also looking over at Alastor while saying he thinks he’s still married?

Omg what’s this post that Viv liked doing here.

Alastor does a similar thing here, he looks away to pretend he doesn’t care and then looks over at Lucifer to see his reaction.

Furthermore, RA often push each other to go all out and do things they usually do not want to do. Alastor does not do his job, having to be asked to do it and even then, he sometimes just refuses, but when Lucifer comes to the hotel Alastor INSISTS on being there to give the tour.

In their duet, Alastor and Lucifer both pull out all the stops. Lucifer flexing his powers as much as he can, Alastor pulling the father figure card on Charlie, etc. We even see Alastor going all out power wise this episode, in the commentary track, they commented on how Alastor does nothing this whole show but now he’s doing something.

On a similar note, Lucifer does not give sinners the time of day, he says himself that he ignores them all, and he does for the most part. He constantly engages with Alastor while ignoring all other sinners. While helping Charlie, he looks over to Alastor (Knows exactly where to look too, then Alastor waves at him because of course he does.), when Vaggi asks him to help with the Vox situation, he only gets up because of Alastor being mentioned.

(Goes from just coexisting with Angel and Cherri to excited as soon as Alastor walks in.)

Lucifer also does not remember the names of sinners or even his daughter’s own girlfriend, but can remember the name of the sinner who he hates the most. (Talk about obsessed.)

Alastor seems to constantly seek out Lucifer, which stands out, because Alastor rarely (if ever) seeks out people. (Except Rosie, whose relationship differs very much from Lucifer’s and Alastor’s) We only ever see people coming to him.

Yet we see him teleport to Lucifer, then later we see him looking over to him and  waving.

But back to Dad beat Dad, another thing of note is some of the shot framing in More than Anything. Here’s your reminder that animation is very intentional.

As I’m sure you all know, More than Anything is a very emotional song about Lucifer’s and Charlie’s relationship and how important they are to each other. At some point in the song, we see the camera pan towards Husk, Sir Pentious, and Angel as Charlie sings. Then it pans to Vaggi and then Alastor and Nifty walk into frame.

Now this decision to separate Husk, Angel and Pentious from Vaggi, Alastor and Nifty is extremely interesting. Obviously Vaggi is separated because she’s special to Charlie, she’s her girlfriend, the person who has supported her through all. But then why Alastor and Nifty?

We then see another similar framing choice later in the same song. Vaggi on Charlie’s left and then Alastor and Nifty on Lucifer’s left. They are showing a clear parallel between Vaggi, Alastor and Niffty.

They specifically choose these characters to have next to Charlie and Lucifer, for what reason I wonder..

(If you’re wondering about Niffty, she shown to be somewhat of a daughter figure to Alastor, and in this song about familial relationship, it fits to have her alongside Alastor if the reason is to foreshadow that Alastor will end up being as important to Lucifer as Vaggi is to Charlie.)

But, this is not the only time the show frames Lucifer and Alastor in a matter that stands out.

In S2E1, we see a bunch of reporters asking Vaggi questions, and when one of them asks if “(Charlie) drinks gay blood to improve her gay powers”, who do we see in the forefront?

(Taps the animation is extremely intentional sign again)

It then cuts away from them when a reporter asks another question then pans back to Lucifer and Alastor when a reporter asks if he should “divorce his wife”.

Now here’s where I want to bring up an important line from an interview that Viv did recently, “...I like that you pointed that out because that’s, like, these are the kind of comments and lines that we put in as, like, nuggets that feed into later development..” (Note that she is referring to another line that the interviewer brings up, but I think this is an important line to keep in mind when analyzing the show.)

Amir says something very similar, "...you can take your time a little more and you can plant seeds in season 2 that come to fruition in three and four and so two ended up being a bigger seed planting season..."

Where do we see another seed being planted I wonder..

Whoops that just fell out of my pocket.

Speaking of, at the end of Season 2, we see that Alastor has set his sights on Lucifer. So what exactly does that mean? Don’t worry we’ll get to that but first let me address something.

 THE SHARK IN THE ROOM

(I want to preface this with, I do very much like Vox as a character but I’m going to get a little mean towards him LOL)

Let’s talk about Vox. I think he’s a very important frame of reference when it comes to RA’s relationship and how Alastor treats others.

Let’s start with Stayed Gone and how it compares to Hell's Greatest Dad. With SG, Alastor ends with the upper hand and “wins” the duet. SG sets the stage perfectly for Alastor and Vox’s relationship: Vox is overly obsessed with him, tries his hardest to one up Alastor but ends up failing in the end. While Alastor wins with minimal effort. Showing how no matter how hard Vox tries, he won't ever be enough for Alastor, Alastor will always be above him in some sense. (Then we really see this in S2)

While in HGD, they’re both on equal footing, they’re trading blows and no one “wins”, if Mimzy never interrupted they’d probably still be in the midst of that right now. They both say things that push the other to do better, Lucifer gets out his fiddle so Alastor pulls out his piano.

This is even shown in the Broadway performance, in SG Amir is up on a platform, above Christian while when Jeremy and Amir perform HGD, they both start at the same point and then go on to mirror each other’s movements. I think this says a LOT about their dynamic, it’s reciprocal, it’s a back and forth while with Vox, it’s harassment charges waiting to happen.

But there’s more, let’s talk about the mugs. Vox has a “Fuck Alastor” yet Alastor has no such “Fuck Vox” mug, Vox does not cross Alastor’s mind, he’s above petty things like this when it comes to Vox. But with Lucifer.. He wouldn’t let himself be outdone, they have matching mugs showing once again this relationship is reciprocal, it’s a give and take.

We again see Lucifer’s dislike for sinners when he’s captured by Vox, he doesn’t even let Vox finish his sentence before cutting him off and berating him. Yet when Alastor publicly insults him in front of his daughter, he lets him finish before responding. It’s clear Lucifer makes an exception for Alastor when it comes to not interacting with sinners for whatever reason.

They get so caught up in talking to each other that Vox has to PHYSICALLY put himself in between them so that they could focus on him and even then, they’re still looking at each other.

Another thing to note is how when Alastor was tied to the chair, he used his legs to gesture when talking to Vox. At one point, even snapping his own leg. But when he sees Lucifer, he waves his hand to say hello. My boyfriend and I talked about it and he said this shows how Alastor views Vox as below him but has some respect for Lucifer, enough to actually wave with his hand despite being tied up.

Ending off this section with a post Viv liked talking about Vox’s anger with Alastor and Alastor’s anger with Lucifer.

Very weird indeed.

 THE JOURNEY

So. The Journey.

There’s an interview where Viv goes on to talk about Lucifer’s and Alastor’s relationship and it’s one of the biggest pieces of evidence towards RA. I suggest you go watch that clip in full, but I’ve transcripted some of the most important parts of it.

“Lucifer and Alastor's relationship is one of my favorites in the show. And obviously I can't reveal what it is, because that's really one of the ones that develops, I think, the most uniquely over the course of the whole series. And so whether or not they stay rivals or stay antagonistic or stay- or develop into having some kind of dynamic with each other I can’t reveal but I think I am very excited for people to see the journey they go on […] I’m excited for people to see how that can evolve into something, um, interesting and fun and, um, but yeah I can’t say how, I can't say what direction but it is one of my favorite relationships in the show to explore and obviously when I say relationship that can mean a lot of things.”

Honestly, this doc could end here but there’s more.

Another quote from Viv, “I feel like the fact that [Alastor is] asexual- I always try to be very coy about his- I mean not about his orientation cause like I don’t think that I want to be coy about that for any of the characters but for his, um, his romantic aspect because like, you know, I don't want to crush dreams- there is a canonic y'know direction for that too.

Let the shippers ship!

I’ll let them have their fun, for now.”

(Things to note about this, this came out around 2020 so before S1, but after Criminal ((You’ll learn what that means later)). I believe what she meant by “crushing dreams” was that she didn’t want to disappoint Charlie x Alastor shippers as that ship dominated in the pilot era.)

So what could this ~journey~ possibly entail? I think something that hints to what their relationship will lead to is in an interview that Amir did, where he was asked if Alastor was to become genuinely attached to one person in the hotel (who wasn’t Niffty) who would it be? And Amir chooses not to answer.

Which is interesting, there are answers he could have given that wouldn’t really be surprising to anyone. For one, he could have said Charlie, who we know Alastor cares for (in some sense), or even Husk who he has a connection to already.

But him choosing not to answer is honestly more telling. Considering Viv has said Ra’s relationship develops the most uniquely and throughout the course of the whole show, I don’t think it’s a big jump to assume he’s likely thinking of Lucifer here.

Then there’s this post. Now, Amir is known to shit post so I tend not to take most of his posts at face value but what’s interesting about this one is the fact that he deleted it.

And then this comment? It all paints a picture for what Lucifer and Alastor’s relationship in the future could possibly develop into. We know they are not going to stay rivals, despite Viv’s attempt to keep how they develop hidden, it’s very clear they will likely grow to care for each other in some way.

Another thing of note is Viv’s phrasing in the interview. They go on a journey? Now where have I heard that before..

So, the show will be exploring Alastor’s identity, and it’s going to be a journey. Two things about this choice of words. One, it’s the same word she used to describe RA’s relationship. And two, it’s not going to be a quick someone explains what asexuality is to Alastor and he then adopts that label.

It’s going to be a ~journey~ and who will there be to help explore Alastor’s sexuality? Certainly not Vox considering Alastor called him a creep and can’t stand being touched by him. It would be strange for it to be Rosie, he just got out of forcibly working for her so why would he come back and develop that sort of relationship with her? Charlie has Vaggi, Husk has Angel, Nifty has Baxter…

If only there was a character that Alastor already seems attracted to, who he would be in close proximity to, whose relationship we know will develop ~uniquely~, who he also just so happens to have his sights on- Yeah I think it’s Lucifer.

And we’ve already been given a sneak peak into how their relationship might develop. While looking through Viv’s old sketches, I found a drawing of Baxter and Nifty which reflects how their relationship in the actual show turned out.

Like look at these cuties.

The reason I bring this up is because there are similar drawings of Alastor and Lucifer together which I think gives us a look at what their dynamic in future seasons might turn out to be.

(If it’s hard to see the drawings, it’s a picture of Alastor saying quack and one of him wearing a suit jacket that resembles Lucifer's.)

Then there’s this post that Viv liked.. A little more on the delusional side but still something I wanted to mention.

 WHAT WOULD AN ANGEL SAY?

Now who here has listened to Criminal by Fiona Apple? (We’ll get there)

So Alastor and Lucifer both have official playlists and a lot of the songs on there are very interesting to say the least. But I’ll save the best for last. Let it be known that songs are very important to Viv’s creative process, Alastor was literally created because of a song.

But I do want to preface this with the fact that some of these songs could have been added for any reason, this is just speculation based on how Viv talks about RA. So here’s your warning that this may be breaching delulu territory.

Now, let’s get into the songs in Lucifer’s playlist first.

With some of the songs in Lucifer’s playlist, it’s hard to tell when a song is about Lilith and when it is not. But, I feel most of the songs talking about a past love are about Lilith, and these seem to be the songs that are usually in reference to a woman.

The songs I believe are about Alastor are: Emily, Troublemaker, Something Stupid, and Lover.

Let’s talk about Emily first.

First things first this doesn’t feel like a song directed to Lilith, it doesn’t feel as loving or sad and yearning as most of the songs on this playlist that I feel are directed towards Lily do. So let’s break it down.

“can’t you write a happy song? Get your ass to number one [..] you could be a millionaire but you’re so full of hot air.”

If this song is about Alastor and in Lucifer’s perspective, this line shows what Lucifer thinks about him, that he could be something but he’s too egotistical and also edgy lol.

“You never make no sense screaming at me in French, “Pourquoi tu gâches ta vie?” [..] Shut up, listen to me, dance with me, Emily.”

The mention of French is interesting. It translates to, “why are you wasting your life?” Which is a fitting thing for Alastor to say to Lucifer.

“One day I will end up dead, that’s the only thing I’ve said that would ever get her smiling, Emily.”

This is really the nail in the head that this isn’t about Lilith, I don’t believe the thought of Lucifer being dead would ever cause her to smile but for Alastor on the other hand…

Now let’s move on to Troublemaker.

“Why does it feel so good but hurt so bad? My mind keeps saying run as fast as you can. I say I’m done, but then you pull me back.”

“I know you’re no good, but you’re stuck in my brain”

From what we know about how Lucifer and Lilith fell in love, it happened very quickly, there wasn’t ever a push and pull like seen here. Lucifer is also very in love with her, it wouldn’t fit for him to think to “run away,” when it seems he likes her more than she does him.

This feels more like a description of one of RA’s arguments, Alastor is a literal red flag but Lucifer seems attracted to him regardless.

“It’s like you’re always there in the corners of my mind, I see a silhouette every time I close my eyes. There must be poison in those fingertips of yours, ‘cause I keep comin’ back for more.”

I find the imagery here interesting, a silhouette? Like a shadow? Then again, “Keep coming back for more” Though Alastor irritates Lucifer, he comes back for more, he continues to engage with him.

Let’s talk about Something Stupid now.

This one especially stands out to me.The scene it’s painting is very familiar, “we drop into a quiet little place and have a drink or two. And then I go and spoil it all by saying something stupid,” remind you of anything?

And what makes it parallel this scene even more is the “I see it in your eyes that you despise the same old lies you heard the night before, and though it’s just a line to you, for me it’s true.”

The same old lies, like the ones Vox told Alastor that night in the bar. And Alastor is very much the type to believe something like “I love you” is just a line while to Lucifer, a certified lover boy, it’s not.

And once more, I don’t believe this song is about Lilith again because it does not fit the image and what we know of Lilith and Lucifer’s relationship, why would he be afraid to say something like I love you to his own wife?

Next, Lover.

“I take this magnetic force of a man to be my lover, my heart’s been borrowed and yours has been blue. [..] Swear to be overdramatic and true to my lover.”

“My heart’s been borrowed.” Lucifer had and has loved Lilith for a very long time but now he’s moving on, “Yours has been blue” Alastor has had a long history of bad relationships. And I want to point out the fact that it’s specifically talking about a man, which might mean nothing but still interesting to note.

“I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, but I want ‘em all” “Have I known you 20 seconds or 20 years?”

Again, does not fit Lilith. They’ve been together since soon after Lilith’s creation. But you know who has known each other for a short period of time especially considering the fact that Lucifer has been around for since ever……….. Okay you get the point lol

And now, for our secret last song. Unholy.

A song about cheating? In my official Lucifer playlist? It’s more likely than you think.

I feel like this song is very obvious, Lucifer might end up cheating on Lilith or feeling like he’s cheating if (when) they do divorce.

So let’s talk about Alastor’s playlist now, which only has one song that I will be talking about.

SO NOW. FOR THE MOMENT YOU’VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR. PRESENTING.

CRIMINAL BY FIONA APPLE.

Now this song stands out in Alastor’s playlist a lot. Let’s break it down.

“I’ve been a bad, bad girl. I’ve been careless with a delicate man and it’s a sad, sad world when a girl will break a boy just because she can.”

I believe this song is hinting towards what their relationship will be post s3, we know Alastor has his sight set on Lucifer and we know he’ll probably want to get something out of him for whatever reason.

Viv even liked a post talking about this exact thing.

I believe that Alastor will succeed in manipulating Lucifer and it will likely come from seducing him (I KNOW THIS SOUNDS CRAZY BUT PROMISE I WILL EXPLAIN IN A BIT.) and from seducing him, he’ll realize he actually has feelings and will regret hurting Lucifer.

If you believe that this song is about Vox, I promise you, it is not, Vox is not a “delicate man,” and Alastor feels no sympathy for treating him the way he does.

Viv has liked multiple posts backing this up.

Cello says: “It is worth noting that Vox isn't defined by “being a soft, delicate man” he CAN BE when he wants to, but it isn't a defining trait of his. While Lucifer is very sensitive and soft, he wears his heart on his sleeve. This man being described in the song fits Lucifer better.”

And has made posts that show her view of Lucifer would align more with this image of a "delicate man”

“And I need to be redeemed to the one I’ve sinned against because he’s all I ever knew of love. [..] I gotta cleanse myself of all these lies ‘til I’m good enough for him.”

Vox is certainly not all Alastor knows of love nor would Alastor want to be “good enough for him”, Alastor called him a creep, Vox sexually assaulted him and isn’t even in love with him, he’s obsessed and that’s not love.

“So what would an angel say? The devil wants to know.”

Coming back to how Alastor could be a representation of the devil, and also an angel? Come on now.

So let’s talk about Criminal and what it could mean for RA’s future relationship.

THE ALASTOR IS GONNA SEDUCE LUCIFER IN SEASON 3 THEORY

Let me address the elephant in the room, yes, Alastor is ace but asexual people can still have sex and sexual attraction. Asexuality is a spectrum and not one person’s experience can speak for everyone, coming from an asexual person who has sex.

ANYWAYS LET’S TALK ABOUT ALASTOR TEMPTRESS THEORY.

Temptress theory is the theory that Alastor seduced his victims in order to lure and kill them. This is backed up by the fact that whenever we see Alastor with a victim, they’re in a state of undress. When we see Alastor dragging away a dead body his shirt is open and his tie undone and his victim’s shirt is also open. We see the same thing in the Human Alastor trading card.

Also one of his victims is a married man? Which he lured all the way into the swamp?

We see him use a similar tactic when he makes his deal with Vox, he leaves his shirt open despite having time to fix it, he just stitches up his wound. Alastor is very particular in how he looks, Sir Pentious rips his coat and he gets very upset, he’s all about appearance and a performance.

Also his mannerisms and the way he talks in this scene, it’s clear he was trying to use seduction in order to get Vox to make the deal. We don’t see him use this manner  of speaking again and we didn’t see it with Charlie or other characters he has made or has wanted to make a deal with. He knows Vox is attracted and obsessed with him and is using that against him, like how he uses Vox’s ego against him as well.

Viv has even liked a post talking about this exact thing. (I suggest watching this video, it explains this very well!!)

So what does this have to do with Lucifer? Well, we know Alastor has his sights set on Lucifer and probably has less than good intentions.

I believe Alastor will likely attempt to seduce Lucifer in attempts to make a deal or gain power but as a result will end up catching feelings and in his typical Alastor way,  will likely end up hurting Lucifer. This is where Criminal comes in.

Lucifer will be all Alastor knows of love and he’ll develop past his hatred of relationships and want to “redeem” himself. This is also backed up with the songs in Lucifer’s playlist. Lucifer will feel like he’s cheating on Lilith with Alastor (Unholy), knows that Alastor is bad news but he keeps coming back (Troublemaker) and ends up having feelings too but is worried that’ll ruin everything (Something Stupid).

But that’s just a theory.

 MARKETING

(In light of recent tweets, take some of these with a grain of salt, though it may not be indicative of anything, it’s still fun and interesting to note<3)

Alright I don’t have a segway into this one, so let’s talk about marketing and merch!

Lucifer and Alastor seem to always be mirroring each other in merch or referenced in each other’s pieces of merch.

Here’s a compilation. And I’m sure I missed some of them.

(As I was writing, these promo pictures got posted.. All the canon couples and then RA.. which could mean anything)

There’s this Lucifer claw clip where the description says “Smile, my dear”

And the Alastor watch, which has markers on some of the hours to represent Lucifer.

(Charlie is understandable, Adam makes sense since he is the one that showed that Alastor isn’t untouchable and eventually led him into breaking his deal, but Lucifer? Niffty, Vox, Rosie or Husk would have made much more sense but they chose Lucifer instead.)

Now let’s talk about the RA hoodie.

This in itself is not crazy, but the fact that they have an official sigil and the fact that this merch is from pre S2 and they choose Lucifer and Alastor?

There’s also three very similar hoodies that also include sigils for them. What’s interesting about these is that it’s two canonical couples and one where one of the characters has romantic feelings for the other. And we get a very similar hoodie with RA?

If you’re thinking, “Hey, isn't there a hoodie with Alastor and Rosie?”, you’d be correct!

EXCEPT THIS ONE DOESN’T HAVE A SIGIL. Viv even liked a post about this !!!! Comparing it to the RA hoodie!!

Let it be known that all canon ships have a sigil. From left to right Staticmoth, Cherrisnake, Chaggie then Angel,  Alastor and Lucifer’s solo symbols. So isn’t it interesting that RA has one too?

(Ty Tooth for this compilation)

Oh Viv..

Speaking of the Valentine's merch, let's talk about that drop and previous years.

Wow all canon couples and what is that

Alastor and Lucifer being the only solo characters in the 2025 Valentine’s drop.. Once again mirroring each other’s poses too. (Allow me to get a little delusional but the “Miss you” and “Love yourself” kinda match like Alastor’s telling Lucifer to get over Lily)

And then in the 2026 drop, they’re no longer the only solo characters but their outfits are matching to high heaven.

Note their outfits were designed by Spindlehorse. It was very intentional.

Not even the canon couples are matching this obviously! And if you’re thinking well that doesn’t necessarily mean anything, here’s a post from Viv and the previous merch manager talking about how they didn’t include Huskerdust because it wasn’t canon.

Viv does not like shipbaiting and will shut down other ships that won’t be canon.

(Referring to Amir saying his favorite ship is Charlastor for the charity raffle)

Viv does the opposite of shutting down RA and she’s had the opportunities.

Like Viv. Hello. Is Ra supposed to be a secret.

The marketing doesn’t end just at merch, the Prime accounts use them to market the show in general.

(Text from left to right, “They will always be famous.”, “Hell’s greatest daddies,” then the reply is “It’s always duck/deer season in hell,” then a “A match made in hell,” since the text is hard to read.)

Honestly I have no words that would make any sense so I’m leaving this here.

RADIOAPPLE CEO

Let’s discuss the RA CEO, Vivienne Medrano. It’s very clear that Viv has a favorite ship, and that ship is Radioapple.

Even Sam Haft, one of the songwriters for Hazbin, knows this

(Shout out Ray<3)

She even calls Lucifer and Alastor scenes us service.

When talking about the ending of Hazbin, she mentions that it’s very self indulgent. Why wouldn’t she make her own favorite ship canon?

Now for some miscellaneous likes that I want to show.

 ADDRESSING CONCERNS

When it comes to Radioapple, there are two main concerns I see often get brought up. First being Alastor’s sexuality and second being Lilith. So, here’s my attempt to soothe your worries.

I’ve brought up the topic of Alastor’s identity briefly but I’ll go more in depth on it now. Please note, I am asexual and I have talked about this with friends who are also asexual.

First things first, here’s a reminder that asexuality means little to no sexual attraction and again it varies from person to person.

Now, Alastor does not have a canon romantic aspect. In every pride merch thus far, we have only seen him with the ace flag.

Being ace does not mean he cannot be in a romantic relationship. Being ace does not mean he cannot be in a sexual relationship.

Asexuality is a spectrum and we do not yet know where Alastor is in said spectrum.

Now onto Lilith. Let it be known, I like Lilith, I am very excited to see her next season.

Anyways Lucifer and Lilith are going to divorce, let’s talk about it!

Firstly, they’re already separated and we’ve known this since S1.

Secondly, the way Charlie and Lucifer speak about her, it feels like they didn’t have a perfect relationship and likely felt ignored by her. Charlie also believes she’s the reason or part of the reason she left.

It’s also implied that Lilith probably doesn’t view Lucifer in a good light, when Charlie calls her in S2E1, she says “[Lucifer] is not so bad,” and Viv even liked a post about this.

It’s also clear that Lilith drove a wedge between the two, in More than Anything, we see Lilith taking away baby Charlie when both of them were very happy and wanted to continue spending time together.

They even flat out state they were pulled apart.

Now onto the evidence that Lucifer and Lilith will divorce next season (or soon). The animation director mentions how strict she is with Lucifer’s ring and that it is visible in almost every shot Then, when we see Lilith in S2, we get two close ups of both of her hands and she’s not wearing a ring.

Which we know she used to wear at some point!

Now let’s talk about what Viv has said about them.

So there’s a video from a convention where someone asks Viv about familial relationships, specifically Lucifer and Charlie and Stolas and Octavia. I’m not going to transcribe the video as it’s nearly 2 minutes and the entire video is important so I’d suggest just watching it.

But, she talks about how her parents' relationship inspired her to write the parents in her shows and how they went through an eventful/messy divorce before eventually becoming friends.

This does not apply to Stolas and Stella who very obviously are not going to reconcile, it makes a lot of sense for Lucifer and Lilith to get divorced and later become friends.

Then there's this post, talking about what Viv said about Lucilith, saying they’re on the “struggle bus”.

Then there’s also this post Viv liked talking about Lucifer and Lilith being divorced.

All in all, it doesn’t seem like Lucifer and Lilith’s relationship is in any means healthy. Lucifer seems heavily dependent on her, being often called a “wife guy”. I would go so far as to say that his self worth may have been dependent on how she saw him.

But Lilith does not seem like the type of partner for him. We know she values her independence, she likely wouldn’t have wanted someone attached to her hip. She has been ghosting him and even pulled him and Charlie apart.

Lilith coming back will not fix their marriage and it would not be narratively satisfying nor would it progress any of their characters, they would just be stuck in the same position they were. This is why we believe a divorce is impending, not to push an RA agenda.

CURTAIN CLOSE

I want to end off here talking about some silly theory/more delusional pieces of evidence.

So let’s talk about my personal favour crack theory, the “Lucifer and Alastor accidentally get married in S3,”

This spawned from this post I saw talking about this line from Helluva Boss.

Alastor will likely try to make a deal with Lucifer, so what if it ends up causing them to be bound together?

Also, we haven’t learned Alastor’s last name yet, his card with his past self is just called “Human Alastor”,.. They’re not revealing his last name because it’s going to be Morningstar soon enough..

Also they’re constantly called dads all the time like.. Dad mugs, Hell’s greatest dads, Dad beat Dad, like the list goes on.

And there’s this line from S1.. double meaning maybe? Meaning he’s going to fall into Lucifer’s arms?

And again this post talking about a wedding… very interesting

Then Amir posted these stories the day he retweets this post?? Oh RA marriage will be real.

FIN.

Thank you all for reading! I hope you all enjoyed my ramblings <3
