Details on qualifications can be found on our website or the websites of the associations that run the horse shows. Captains will contact applicants with any further questions or to clarify division suitability.

*NOTE: You may try out for a division that you do not qualify for. Some circuits allow captains to appeal riders up a division if they do not have a recent show record, but are more suited to that division. If you intend to appeal, please note that the video attached to this application must demonstrate your ability at the *qualifying* height/level of the division you wish to try out for.

Please attach to your application email your tryout video including the following requirements.

All applicants including team members from previous years must provide a video with their application to be eligible for in-person try-outs. If you have ridden on the team previously we would prefer an updated video from your previous application.  

Try-out video must include:

  • 1 course video (hunter, jumper, eq) at the qualifying height/level. If you hope to appeal up to a higher division than you qualify for, the videos must be at the height of the appeal division. Courses are preferably from a show.
  • a flatwork video (preferably schooling where you can show sitting trot, no stirrup work, etc.)

In addition to this form, we require each applicant to upload the following items:

A photocopy of your health card AND OE(F) membership card
