Talking to Plants and Flowers

All things in life are energy. As humans, it is often hard to realize this as many energies are not tangibly seen. However, as you know, to be in balance, we must be in balance with all energies around us: this means we must have a (balanced) relationship with everything.

As a human--who likes tangible things that prove energy exists--I personify the energies around me to help my mental body in understanding how to create this balanced relationship.  I believe  if you put an energy in the same form that you are, you’ll be in better alignment with it because you’ll be able to better understand it. So all energies are not only people to me (because that’s what I am), but they are  my family (because that is who I have a balanced relationship with). For this reason, plants and flowers are my family, and  I refer to them as I would my human family. Doing this helps me relate to them better and respect them more.

Since all things are energy and you are energy, all things speak the same language: the language of energetic communication. This language is universal and does not have verbs, nouns, or adjectives. It has feelings. We can talk to anything from feeling it. Note the different between emotional feeling and energetic feeling. Emotional feeling has bias based upon your  interpretation. Energetic feeling is universal, felt by all through the third eye. When you have an energetic conversation with something, you feel it energetically, then translate what is felt  in your mother tongue.

Since I said energetic communication is universal, you can prove this by comparing what you felt to what has been scientifically researched or proven by the masses. This is what you will be doing today.

Assignment 2:

Review the list you created in  Assignment 1:  sit with each plant or flower. You may feel called to ingest him or her. I like to put my ear up to the plant or flower and literally listen to him or her. What message are they giving you? Write the name of the plant or flower down and then the message that you received.

Take your time with this assignment: don’t rush through. There may be many, many plants and flowers around you that you have recorded on your list (if you are lucky, your list is long!). Value these beings in your life and give them the attention you would a family member or friend. Have a conscious energy conversation with each of them. Acknowledge each one in a balanced way.

When you are done receiving messages, do some research. Look up each plant or flower to find their researched and proven medicinal properties. Compare what you heard from the plant to what science has proven.

Submit this list with all of your notes (both felt and researched) and a brief reaction (one paragraph) on what you have learned from this assignment to your Reiki Master.

Assignment 3:

Energy works as a magnet. You were brought to take this class because you were destined to hear the messages and teachings of this class at this exact time: this is the time you are ready to hear this message. I have channeled a list of plants, flowers and herbs. Complete the same task as you did in Assignment 2. You can have any version of this plant or flower: dried, an essential oil, a living entity hanging in your refrigerator, etc.  If you do not have these plants or flowers in your presence, you  do not need to buy them. Energy is limitless and spaceless. Close your eyes and visualize the plant or flower, draw it or look at a picture of it on the internet. Connect with it. What is he or she saying to you? The plant or flower will talk to you without you being PHYSICALLY around him or her as that is how energy works.

Also note if the plant or flower on this list was already a plant or flower you have created, take this as an attempt of the energy of the plant or flower to get your attention TWICE. Notice how it really wants to be a part of your life, so honor that. You need each other right now. Experience  each other and evolve (just as we do with all healthy relationships in our life).

Rosemary

Rosemary is totally a dude. He’s not a man’s man, but he ain't no sissy. His scent is tough yet inviting. He’s like the type of dude you look at and you immediately think “yeah, I’m not going to mess with him” but then when you hear him talking he’s a straight up lover, mama’s boy.  Rosemary will give you a hug to feel safe while protecting the shit out of you. He’s like the big brother I never had. When he’s around, he’s working his ass off not letting any negative vibes come my way and I’m releasing a lot so he’s working hard.

Lavender:

Sweet, sweet lavender: this vibration just makes you smile. When you smell him, it brings up that feeling you get when someone you love hugs you or you wrap a warm towel around you after getting out of the shower.

Chamomile:

He speaks of happiness and sunshine. His vibration let's you know light is coming (and actually, it's already here).

Skull Cap:

He’s the bad ass that vibrates away all the bull shit related to anxiety. He provides a straight up sigh of relief.

Hops:

He’s the vibration that says: HEY! Grab my shoulders--I’ll hop you right out of this anxious miss. He literally bounces  you away from all negative vibes.

Valerian Root:

Smell him and you’ll know he’s no joke. He’s one potent vibration that gives the 1-2-Knock-Out punch of anxiety. For some people, this herb is so super strong, it puts them right to sleep.

Plantain Leaf:

He’s the comforting councilor reminding you you’ve been here before and you’ll get through it. He’s just an understanding vibe of energy.

Lemon Balm:

She’s the umbrella for the rain, keeping you dry, inspiring the sun to come back out again. She makes you as comfortable as you can be in all this down-pour of emotions while really being that one beam of light shining through a mess of grey clouds.

Passion Flower:

This plant’s karmic person is remind the members of the earth to connect with God, find your passion or life’s purpose and use this to protect you from negative vibrations. He takes you back to your creative core and motivates you to find purpose.  Note: Passion Flower never served me (he would have 7 years ago the first time I fought anxiety as I didn’t know my purpose) Now I do and  living this purpose, as a yoga teacher I feel I needed to talk about him and provide him to my students.
