Dear Laszló,
Many thanks for the wire sending greetings. – It was forwarded from Westport[1] – It is very nice of you to remember the fact. but how did you know? Unless it appeared in some newspaper. – In any case it was very nice of you to send, & I appreciate it. –
We are busy deer stalking. The home is full of nephews, nieces, grandson [illegible], who find plenty to do fishing & shooting Rabbits – This glen is very inaccessible, the scenery fine – wild – abrupt – precipitous – most of the ground

on which are the deer at this time of year is over 2500’ ab. sea level. –
The walking very severe, but it is very good for one – To be out walking over all sorts of ground, angles, & levels for 8 or 9 hours a day for for 4 or 5 dogs out of the 7. – I am glad to be able to do it at my age. –
I trust you are well – Please remember me to that nice wife of yours & Believe me | Yours [very?] sincerely
