I (AlinaInverse) compiled a list together of links that help out Indigenous communities and peoples!! There is just not enough talk about Native peoples for me still, especially in the Twitch community. My people always need support just to have an easier life, so I’m hoping these links will help you help them directly or indirectly. I will be continuously adding to this as I come across more links and people but please also do some educating and research on your end by reading the information of these link’s I’m providing you.

BASIC NECESSITIES -> DONATION

  • Navajo Water Project - Help the Navajo Nation get clean and running water
  • Native American Heritage Association - Help send food and basic necessities to the Crow Creek, Lower Brule, Pine Ridge, Cheyenne River and Rosebud Reservations
  • One Spirit Okini - Personally help a Lakota family from the Pine Ridge and Cheyenne River Reservations by choosing from a specific list of necessities
  • Adopt A Native Elder - Help Elders living on the Navajo Reservation reduce extreme poverty and hardships. This organization helps deliver food, medical supplies, firewood and other necessities.
  • Water First - Help First Nations in Canada get clean water. Also provide training where they can learn how to deal with water solutions
  • Protect The People - Help send PPE masks and supplies to the Navajo Nation

  • Apache Stronghold - Help support this organization of individuals battle against colonization, defending holy sites and continuing to build a better community  
  • First Nations -  Help improve economic conditions for Native Americans through technical assistance & training, advocacy & policy, and direct financial grants
  • Indian Land Tenure Foundation - Choose from 29 different funds to donate to. They range from land recovery to education. Just read through the list!
  • Tribal Extension - Help spark interest in agriculture by funding programs
  • Indian Affairs - Help support solutions and policies that empower self determination and sustainability in Indian Country
  • Black Hills Legal Defense Fund - Help support protestors who were arrested with legal support, travel funds for those to make court dates and any left over funds will be used for legal matters in protection of Black Hills
  • Federal Court Legal Fund Freedmen Descendants - Help fight racism against Black people in Indian Country. Extra funds go to outstanding legal bills.
  • National Indigenous Women’s Resource Center - Help end violence against Native women and restore sovereignty for tribes to hold perpetrators accountable
  • Coalition To Stop Violence Against Native Women - Your donation helps cultivate and strengthen their ability to advocate for Native women and children and break the cycles of violence
  • Real Rent Duwamish - Stand in solidarity with the Duwamish Tribe by donating to help revive their culture and the vitality of their tribe
  • True North Aid - Help support northern Indigenous communities in Canada by choosing from 8 programs to donate and fund ranging from food and water to housing and education
  • Sovereign Bodies Institute - Help fund this organization who works towards healing Indigenous nations and communities impacted by gender and sexual violence. There is also a shop to purchase items from where all the proceeds go to SBI
  • Mitakuye Foundation - Help donate to a organization that focuses on preventing teen suicide on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota
  • Amazon Watch - Help protect the rainforest, defend Indigenous rights and address climate change
  • Future Ancestors - Help Indigenous, Black, racialized, LGBTQ2S+ and disabled independent service providers in Canada by donating to the Waashayshkwun Grant fund
  • Native Womens Wilderness - Donate to financially support group meet-ups where women can build community and fund scholarships for outdoor leadership training for women

  • American Indian Science And Engineering Society - provide Indigenous undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in an accredited US college or university who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic a one-time scholarship of $500
  • Taking Up Space - Help send Native girls to space camp
  • Redhawk - Help First Nations college students who reside or attend a college in the New York City area.
  • Spirit Of Sovereignty - Fund scholarships for Native students at 37 tribal colleges. Equally helps support Native Children’s Holiday Program which provides gifts and food for Native children during the holidays
  • Center For Native American Youth - Your donation will help improve the lives of Native youths in Indian Country. Have their stories be heard, and provide useful trainings and opportunities for them to grow

  • We R Native - An amazing source for positive vibes and changes in Indigenous communities. Read up and learn about important life lessons and also talk to an Auntie or Uncle for other life advice you or a Native youth may need. There’s also an opportunity to become an Ambassador to continue spreading around the good message for other Native youths in your community
