LONDON,

20th July, 1931.

I regret the delay in replying to your letter,[1] but I have been in the country for a few days and it is only to-day that I am able to attend to waiting correspondence. I do hope this letter will reach you in good time, and I am writing by this same post to my friend in Budapest, whose address I am enclosing, and if you call on him while there I am sure he will be able to assist you, if necessary.

If you have the time will you visit the National Museum in Budapest and call on the Director who is a very cultured man. I also enclose his address.

I am afraid most of my friends will be away from Budapest at present on account of the heat. Your visit there in November will certainly be more pleasant as far the weather is concerned,

I am so pleased that you have seen Frau von Kuh again; she is a very intelligent and artistic lady.[2]

When you return I hope we shall have the pleasure of seeing you. We shall be here until August 19th, when we leave for the Tyrol for a month; I need a rest badly.

With our best wishes and kind regards,
