Position: State Focal Person-Borno State and FCT Abuja
(One-Year Term with Option for Renewal)
RAHAMA seeks a qualified State Focal Person in Abuja and Borno State to establish and maintain effective organizational representation and stakeholder engagement at the state level, covering government and community engagement, partnership and funding opportunity identification, activity coordination, and community-level risk monitoring across its operations within the state.
Provide dedicated representation and coordination support at the state level for Borno State and National level for FCT, ensuring RAHAMA maintains strong relationships with government, traditional and community stakeholders, remains informed of the state's policy and funding landscape, and is well-positioned to identify and act on emerging opportunities.
The scope of work includes stakeholder mapping and relationship management, liaison with state ministries and agencies, representation at coordination meetings and events, monitoring of the state's development and funding landscape, identification of opportunities, support to activity planning and logistics, community-level risk monitoring, and periodic reporting to RAHAMA management.
Stakeholder consultations, meeting attendance, courtesy visits, community engagement, and periodic reporting to RAHAMA's Strategic Engagement Officer.
12 months, with option for renewal based on performance and organizational need.
The State Focal Person reports to the Procurement lead or designated supervisor at RAHAMA.
Timely submission of engagement reports; maintenance of an up-to-date stakeholder log; documented representation at state-level forums; opportunities identified and flagged; compliance with the Code of Conduct and Safeguarding Policy.
All outputs, reports and materials produced in the course of this engagement remain the property of RAHAMA. The State Focal Person shall maintain confidentiality and comply with RAHAMA's safeguarding and ethical standards.
The State Focal Person's performance shall be reviewed quarterly against the agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Continuation of the engagement and any renewal shall be based on satisfactory performance, organizational needs, and the availability of funding.
The State Focal Person's performance shall be monitored against the following key performance indicators. These indicators may be reviewed periodically based on organizational priorities.
