Lytham St Annes Station Fundraising Branch
The Lytham St Annes Station Lifeboat Lottery membership is open to all.
The Lifeboat Lottery is run and administered by the Lytham St Annes Fundraising Branch.
Members must be aged 18 or over.
There may be more than 100 members if demand dictates.
Each member will pay FIVE POUNDS (£5.00) per month. Payment may be made by cheque for the annual sum of £60 or by monthly bank standing order. Monthly payment by cash or cheque is not accepted. All payments to be made in advance of the draws.
Each member shall be allocated a draw number that they will keep for the duration of membership.
Only those members who have paid by the last day of the previous month will have their numbers entered in the months draw. i.e. only those paid by the end of August will be entered in the September draw.
The prize draw will take place on the last All Weather Lifeboat (Thursday) exercise in the month
Membership of the RNLI Lytham St Annes Station Lifeboat Lottery is for a minimum of 12 months
Each numbered member is entitled to one prize in each monthly draw.
Details of prize-winners will be e-mailed to members who provide their e-mail address to the Lifeboat Lottery Treasurer, or will be available from the Treasurer on request.
The lottery payments less the “prize fund” will form a donation to the Lytham St Annes Station Fundraising Branch
40% of the monthly payments shall form the prize pot from which monthly prizes will be paid as follows:
1st Prize 40% of the prize pot
2nd Prize 20% of the prize pot
3rd Prize 10% of the prize pot
4th Prize 10% of the prize pot
5th Prize 10% of the prize pot
10% of the monthly prize pot shall be retained for a special Christmas prize draw to be drawn each December. Only those members who have been members for the previous 6 months will be eligible for the special draw (except in 2011). The prizes for the special draw shall be decided by the Branch Committee
The Lytham St Annes Station Fundraising Branch Treasurer will be responsible for the financial affairs of the Lifeboat Lottery and shall present income and expenditure accounts for the financial period when the Lifeboat Lottery was raising funds.
The Lytham St Annes Fundraising Branch Committee decision on all matters shall be final. There will be a minimum of 3 committee members to include, Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer to be appointed.
In joining the Lytham St Annes Station Lifeboat Lottery all members agree to abide by these rules
Copies of these rules and a donor certificate, with the allocated number will be given to all new members and be available for inspection.
Names and Addresses of all members may be held on computer and details will not be divulged to any other person apart from the Branch Committee
