Crusader of Character:
Congratulations to our Crusader of Character for the day: Morgyn Kelly in 7th grade
The Crusader of Character was nomindated by: Mrs. Pettus
I would like to recognize Morgyn for her outstanding helpfulness and leadership within the classroom. Morgyn consistently demonstrates a willingness to help both her peers and teachers, often stepping into helping others without being asked. Morgyn's positive attitude, strong work ethic, and respectful attitude make her a role model to others and a Crusader of Character.

Attendance:
Shout-out to 7th and 8th grade who raised their quarterly attendance last week - great job, 6th grade is still in the lead but it is close.
6th grade - 96.66
7th grade - 95.27
8th grade - 95.92
Congrats to Mrs. Merchant’s class for having 100% attendance!!! Followed by Mrs. Knolhoff and Mrs Greer - with 99.58 and 99.57% attendance. Please send a student down to get the attendance chains. We had great attendance last week. The following classes were at 98% or above - Hargett, Anderson, Ellis, Munie, Quirk-Nance, Ruch, Wise, Frey, Jackson, Woolverton.

Student Council: 8th Grade students will vote on their high school candidates on May 13. All winners will be announced at the annual park day. As a reminder, there is no campaigning at the middle school.

TMS Cheer Tryouts start tonight from 5-8:00 in the small gym. (Alstat 5/11)
Coach Vallino will be here for the Girls Basketball open gym right after school today until till 3:30. (5/11)

For any 6th and 7th grade boys interested in playing middle school basketball next year, there will be an informational meeting in the cafeteria on Tuesday, May 12. If you are unable to attend, stop by Coach Keller in 701 for summer schedule and camp information. (May 12)
There will be an informational cross country meeting with Coach Strole in the large gym on Wednesday, May 13. This is for all sixth and seventh graders interested in running cross-country next year. (Hunt 5/13)
