Billy was absent the day we went over an essay assignment. He looked at the directions on Canvas, and had it completed when he came back to school. Way to be on top of your schoolwork, Billy!
Today is September 11th, a day of remembrance in our nation’s history. On this day in 2001, our country experienced tragic events that changed lives forever. Thousands of people lost their lives, and many heroes—firefighters, police officers, and everyday citizens—showed great courage helping others.
Even though many of us were not yet born when this happened, we take time each year to honor the lives lost, the heroes who stepped forward, and the resilience of our country.
Please join us now in a brief moment of silence as we remember and honor those affected by the events of September 11th, 2001.

Thank you, Crusaders. Let’s carry forward the spirit of kindness, unity, and respect as we go through our day.
General Announcements:
6th and 8th grade students who have not finished MAP testing please come to the cafeteria TODAY after morning announcements are finished. Please bring your computer and a pencil. (alldredge 9-11-25)
The Caramel Apple Fundraiser is underway! Did you know that $4.50 from each apple sold goes directly back to our school? Your teachers should have details about some of the rewards for those of you selling apples.

Any 6th grade student that is interested in joining SOAR after school, which is an extension of PE, can pick up forms in the small gym or in the main office. The form and fee are due by Wednesday, September 24. (Vickrey 9/24).

The last open gym session for the girls basketball team will be held tomorrow, Thursday evening from 6:00 PM to 7:15 PM. This is a great opportunity to get in some final preparation before tryouts next week. (Schlaefer 9/9)
