Good morning!

Crusader of Character:

Congratulations to our Crusaders of Character for the day: 8th grader Bryson McClain

Without being asked, Brysyn offered to help another student get caught up on his work after being absent. He worked with the student and helped him tremendously!

Thank you Brysyn for offering to help a peer. Your kindness makes a difference!

General Announcements (Club updates below)

Current 7th grade students will be choosing their electives for next year tomorrow (Tuesday) and current 6th grade students will be choosing their electives on Thursday. (Admin 4-13)

Students—have you ever dreamed of traveling to Japan to experience the home of Pokémon, enjoy authentic ramen, ride the bullet train, and explore ancient temples? Your chance is here—TMS is heading to Japan in the summer of 2028! Join us for an informational meeting on Monday, April 27 at 6:30 PM in the TMS cafeteria. Bring your family to learn more about the trip, ask questions, and discover how you can be part of this incredible experience. This is open to all current TMS students.  Be sure to check your email for a message from Mrs. Cochran with details on how to RSVP for the meeting.  (Cochran 4/15 and 4/16 then again on 4/23, 4/24, and 4/27)

Clubs

Student Council: All 8th Grade students: Be sure to check your email for the high school Student Council and Class Office Important Information from Mrs. Neill at the high school. Mrs. Deiters will be collecting the TMS applications in room 711, and as stated in the e-mail, all applications will be due on April 22, with no late applications will be accepted. The one exception to the email, is that there will be no campaigning at TMS. This is only done at THS. (Deiters 4/22)

Fitness Club:  

Pride club: We will meet this week on Friday this week in room 705 after school

Clash Royale Club:

Christian Club:  We are down to our final 3 meetings… April 21st, April 28th & May 12th. Secure your rides so that you can be there.

FCA: Our next meeting is tomorrow, Wednesday, April 15, from 2:00 - 3:30 in the cafeteria.

Everything Sports:   We will meet tomorrow, Wednesday in room 701 after school.

Attention softball players. There will be an informational meeting next Wednesday, April 22nd during CSC for any current 6th or 7th grader interested in trying out for the middle school softball team next school year. (Greer 4/22)

Coach Vallino will have Girls Basketball Open Gym on Thursday April 16th at 6:00-7:30. (Hunt 4/16)

Any current 6th or 7th-grader interested in trying out for the TMS cheerleading team should attend the informational student meeting in the small gym during homeroom next Friday, April 24. Please bring your Chromebook and a parent email. (Alstat 4/24)
