4th December, 1930.

A Member of my Society, Mr. Murray Urquhart,[1] is at present holding an Exhibition of his paintings in Paris, and knowing the interest you take in such matters I should be so grateful if you both could spare the time to visit it, and distribute the enclosed cards among some of your friends who may be pleased to see the pictures and perhaps purchase one.

I am much hoping Mr. Urquhart’s Exhibition will be a success as he is so dependent on it.

It is a long time since we have heard from you, and I do hope you are all well. I am as usual very busy, and rather tired after the amount of work I have got through recently. I have just finished a portrait of the Grand Duke Dimitri’s wife [5723], who is very attractive. I am sure you know her. The wedding of our son Stephen on January 14th also gives us much to do and think about, and we shall be very pleased when it has taken place so that we may have time for a little rest.[2] Kindly let me hear from you soon, and please remember me to Armande.

Believe me,
