HARRY WALLIS.

16th May, 1923.

Dear Sir,

We enclose you an estimate that we have received from Messrs. Hampton for the muslin screen you wish placed under the skylight in the Gallery.[1] Would you kindly let us know whether this meets with your approval, in which case we will have the matter put in hand at once. You will quite understand that much of the expense is due to a slight scaffolding having to be erected to carry this out, and Messrs. Hampton inform us that they would want the best part of a week for the completion of the work.

We are, dear Sir,

Yours faithfully,

Wallis & Son
