Docking/Undocking Blocks Moodle ISU



Introduction

Docking and Undocking blocks can be very helpful in organizing your Moodle ISU pages.

This guide will help you to:

Dock Moodle Blocks

When a block is docked, it is represented as a tab on the left hand side of the screen.  Docking a Moodle block will free up space on the page.

  1. In the right upper corner of the Moodle block, Click the arrow pointing to the left.

  1. The block will now be docked on the left side of the screen.

Note: If you dock multiple blocks, they will appear in the upper left corner in descending order of when you docked them.

Undock Moodle Blocks

  1. Find the block you would like to undock on the left side of the screen.

  1. Hover your mouse over it and a pop-up will appear.
  2. Click the arrow pointing to the right.

Undock Multiple Moodle Blocks

  1. If you have multiple Moodle blocks docked, you can undock all of them at once.
  2. At the very bottom left of your screen, Locate the arrow pointing to the right.

  1. Click the arrow.
  2. All of the docked Moodle blocks will now be undocked.
