the earth's zero of longitude, which by convention passes through Greenwich, England.

Latitude

distance north or south of the equator measured in degrees up to 90 degrees

Longitude

distance measured in degrees east or west from an imaginary line (called the prime meridian) that goes from the North Pole to the South Pole and that passes through Greenwich, England

Degree

The unit of measure used to describe the lines of latitude and longitude.

Relative location

It’s a point or place in relation to another point or place. You use relative location to help give directions.

Absolute location

Exact location using coordinates of latitude and longitude or GPS.
