- Use the Google Docs Quick Create extension to create a spreadsheet to help you multiply word lists for custom Wordles:
- You could use, for example, the first names of important people in your life (family, friends, pets) as in my example, but you could use other words for your list, like days of the week, colors, or favorite activities

- Try to get Wordle to list the seven colors of the rainbow in matching colors (like the example below). Here are the colors: ROYGBIV (Red Orange Yellow Green Blue Indigo Violet). Don’t worry if you can’t solve this… just get as close as you can. Hint: you’ll need to use the Wordle advanced features at this Firefox link: http://www.wordle.net/advanced

- Hover over each country to see its current population (the arrow shows whether its population is increasing or decreasing)
- Find another country (other than Germany) with a decreasing population (down arrow) and Skitch it’s name and information to your warmup… link it to the World Population Counter. You’ll need to capture this with the PRINT SCRN button, open it with Skitch and then use the crop tool.
- Open another site which measures world population even more accurately and Skitch the current World Population underneath ‘Tues’ … here’s the site: Worldometers: http://www.worldometers.info/
