Overview

The Board Secretary is responsible for providing administrative support to the Kingborough Lions United Football Club’s Board of Directors, and supporting the Board to ensure the club's compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and governance requirements. This includes preparing and distributing Board meeting materials, maintaining accurate records and supporting compliance with relevant governance requirements.

Responsibilities

Board Secretary

  1. Provide administrative support to the Club President and Board of Directors.
  2. Coordinate, prepare and distribute Board meeting agendas, minutes, and reports.
  3. Coordinate Board meetings, including venue and IT equipment as necessary.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of Board decisions and actions.
  5. Handle correspondence and communications with the Board.
  6. Support compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and governance requirements.
  7. Assist with preparing and submitting necessary documents to relevant authorities.
