After getting the Soul Badge, I decided to do some shopping.
Then I decided to teach Lull how to catch some waves, and to get out of his shell. (Metaphorically speaking. For a supposed Wartortle, I’m not sure he has a shell.)
I also decided to rematch some trainers around Chat’s house.
Well, it’s comforting to know I’m not the only one who gets amnesia after getting trounced.
Of course, I never cut anybody’s head off… but with this guy, it’s tempting.
You keep telling yourself that, Dirk.
And then I decided to revisit my favorite psychopath. (Technically Nipplee is my least favorite psychopath, since Tyran Ian only threatened to kill me -- he never actually did it.)
The same thing I was before. I’m challenging you.
Yeah, I was, but I got better. And I’ve also gotten better at beating you.
Need some proof? Fine, I’ll show you. Right here, right now. This Torchic is gonna torch you!
Despite the type disadvantage, Lull managed to take down Voltorb.
And Pikachu. Not much different from last time, really.
Only this time, when Raichu came out, Lull was ready for it.
Clutch!
Um, yeah. You know what else isn’t possible? Teleportation, running around on water, and running around at all after having your head cut off.
Yeah, I break all known natural laws because I’m just that awesome.
I might… if I had one.
Oh wait, yeah, I do. My pet Protector. Which, need I add, I didn’t even need to use because my pet puddle can drown your electric rats, no problemo. What kind of tyrant ARE you, anyway?
So I headed outside to brag about winning, but nobody seemed to be all that excited for me.
Um, not sure what I can do for you, buddy… I mean, I just unseated a tyrant, I guess, so what else is there left to do?
...wait… aren’t you the guy I saw sleeping on that windowsill way back in Nature Town? And hey, your breath smells like alcohol. And coffee. Yeesh, didn’t anybody ever tell you never to mix your drinks?
On second thought, please, just leave me alone. You’re beyond my help.
